People i know..and myself, have always wondered "is masturbation a sin?". And noone could ever point it out in the Bible besides "no man shall spill his own seed" But that interpretation is kind of hazy. well at least to me.

So heres what i figure. What do you do when you masturbate? You fantasize about a girl, and how good she looks and how you want to doggy style the shit out of her.

Well THAT my friend, is lust. And i read in the Bible, that, If you look at a girl and have so much as a lustful thought, You have already sinned against her.

so there. there is my big eureka. hope that makes sense to some of you.

So masturbation is OK if you don't think about anything while doing it?

Doing anything without love is sinful, as sin is determined by the opposite(or lack) of God(love). If done out of love, masturbation is fine.

I was under the impression that it's basically the same sin as adultery and pre-marital sex.

I thought it went something like this: You can only masturbate if you are married and your spouce is away on a trip or something. If you do it outside of wedlock it is causing lustful thoughts and that is a sin... Not going to stop me though...

I masturbate to the thought of raping teenage girls. Why? Because it's masturbation, and I don't like spending more than 30 seconds on it.

So, I get to choose between sloth or lust...I'll pick lust - gotta keep the wank time down so I can get my writing done.
