View Full Version : The christmas conspiracy
We all know that christians have taken "christ"mas and somehow made it applicable to the mythos of a popular book. Despite the storys they hold so dear to directley cantradicting there own story of christs birth (December?, Yeah right). Anyway, Many christians still celebrate the santa clause angle. A man and story who should be blasphemous to them. The reason im writing this is because I thuoght about something today, By only moving one letter in the name "Santa" You get "Satan". I could not stop laughing.....

Christmas is basically the old "new years" holiday. So we celebrate two new years every year.

December 25 was originally the biggest holiday of the year under the Cult of Mithra/Mithraism. around the time of Christ Mithraism was Christianities biggest rival. To help convert people to christianity they made christmas on the same day. There are a lot of other things christianity stole from them as well.
and I thought it was common knowledge that Santa was an anagram for satan.

This is true. Also, if one was to research the Mithra God, they would realize how much Christianity stole from it. It's all pretty interesting.

Well, this is another crappy argument against Christianity. Putting Christmas on this day doesn't seem like that big of a deal to me. If I lived back then and I thought this was a way to sort of make the temptation to stay a pagan soften up, I don't see anything wrong with it.
Santa Claus (Saint) Nicholas. Its actually a good story, its not blasphemous, and it doesn't have much to do with being a comparison to Christianity.

Christmas should be a time of love and acceptance. Instead, its a time of increased suicide rates and commercialism. The only good thing about Christmas is being with family. Everything else just sickens me. Especially when they start playing Christmas music in Novemeber. STAY IN YOUR OWN FUCKING MONTH, CHIRSTMAS!

Who cares, really?
I hate when people get up in arms over things that have no meaning. Christmas has very little to do with Christians anymore, it now has been engraned into western culture as an annual tradition. That's why I find it funny when Jews and Muslims complain about Christmas trees, as they essentially have nothing to do with religion anymore.

First of all, I always thought the old christmas came from pagan religions of the british isles. I'm probably wrong though.
Secondly, christians havent stolen enough. They still let women join :\

What? Jesus, Does everyone read what they want to around here?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yule
People can celebrate how they see fit based on what they know or what they've been told, without fear of any persecution. I'd have a problem when Christians want to stamp out pagan events over yule.
I'm certainly not a fan of Christanity or its history, but so long as those who practice pre-christian religions are free to do what they want, Christians should be left to do what they want.
The problem now is the islamic minority who take offense to those who have different beliefes. Christmas trees are not an attack on islam nor do they concern muslims.

Did you know in Germany, Saint Nicholas is accompanied by a little demon named Knecht Ulbrecht?
Who carries a stick.
And Santy asks you: "Have you been a good?" And if you say "No", Knecht issues forth a beating with his stick.
No coal, a beating.
I just thought it was interesting, Christmas-wise.
Oh, also? Jehovah's Witnesses, amongst others, don't celebrate Christmas for that exact reason: No actual date of Christ's birth is given in the Bible. Most historians assume Christmas was imposed to dry and dwarf the pagan Winter celebration.

The real conspiracy about christmas is that it is kept alive only by corporate businesses. What better way to close out the year than creating a holiday rush to drive up sales?
It has little to do with religion and much to do with business.
