Tomorrow being sunday and christmas eve at the same time, I think my father may make me attend church with him and the rest of the family...I don't enjoy going into a place where everyone is putting on a front of being nice and joyful, and where everyone treats everyone else like you are in a gang/cult type place. Is there any way you guys know to bare the agony of a guy saying 'praise the lord' for an hour straight?

Well, being a ChrEaster, my advice is to just grin and bare it. If you're not Catholic (I am, so I don't get this) you can read out of the Bibles they have. Some things in it might not bore you to tears.

If you've actually thought about your beliefs and found out you dont want anything to do with religion then tell your family strait up you dont want any part of it.

What is the purpose of churches? They only help establish a small group, divided from other small groups. If you truly wanted a universal family, then don't worship on differences, such as religion.
