Being a Christian, I wonder how other christians have the whole deal where they feel God's presence, or talk with God. I'm having a hard time experiencing these kinds of things and I'm wondering what you've done to acheive it. Another question, do you think things like meditation and other eastern style principals can help acheive this too?

They say god is everywhere so start imagining he is everywhere. Imagine god is everything you look at. Imagine he loves you and does everything for the love of you me and everything else (even if it doesn't seem so). Imagine long enough and you'll start believing and your love will grow.

take drugs lots of them. the more and the harder ones u take, the "closer" u feel u get to god. and for real life, u get closer to HIM.

So, if this is true, and I think it is, the best way to 'know God' would be to look inside of your self.

Meditation, Whoop!

Me, when i do something that i know is a sin, i just pray to him and ask forgiveness. If i feel really bad about it, i create my own penance and say all the prayrs i know.

i get him drunk first, so he will get slutty

although i can't relate to the judeo-christian concept of one almighty God, i find myself near god always.

god is everywhere and it has touched everyone. although it might not be what you want it to be, it is for someone else.

why is it that i can feel cosure and comfort in a peaceful and relaxing setting in my room where i can let my mind roam free and still feel safe. But yet others need to congragate to a brick and mortar building to find it there.

god is everywhere and it is up to you how you decide to get closure. those who choose to meet in buildings do so because thats where they find god.

You can't chase what isn't hiding from you. Have a good heart, act with good intentions, respect your community and always seek the greater good. what else do you need to get closer to god?

sorry i can't say do some praying and read a few books, that just gets in the way of the fact that god is already here.

for the next few days just look at everything around you. your family, friends, your bed, the grass, sky, water, pay attention to everything. if these things are closer to god, then you must get closer to them and make a network of such.

Because they believe in a God that is more than just a feeling in your mind? Why don't we just make a chemical that gives you that feeling, and everyone can be with god all the time?

I believe there is an actual force that affects our lives everyday. I don't know what it's called, or what it is but it is there. It is not my job to go on a hunt to figure it out. The life I already know is time-consuming enough.

Although I do take these "chemicals" I never associate it with a higher understanding of me or my enviroment. They are just fun and a good trip.

I would personally say that a corrupt mind gets in the way of a better understanding.

I cannot "pick" a religion. There are so many and each one has their own strengths and specialty, that I think its a sham to pick one cause of a popularity contest.

Are you thinking of Karma, or Reiki?

I take the drugs seriously spiritually because they give me a direction to follow that is perfectly adapted to my lifestyle/environment/goals. Constantly reaching inside yourself and gauging your personal growth is the best way to achieve personal spiritual enlightenment.
