I've been praying the rosary alot more frequently, i try to aim for once a day, but 3 times a week or so is good enough. It only takes 15 minutes, and it's easier to mediate on the life of Christ while praying it, than personal prayers.

Does anyone in this thread pray it, and what do they mediate on while praying it?

Yeah, holding some mass produced wood or beads whilst talking to an invisible super natural being makes me feel awesome.

Yeah, I do. I had a wee thread about it on here somewhere. I love the Rosary, and consider it one of the best prayers there is. I usually focus on (obviously) the Mysteries, and I try to create a visual image in my head of the particular Mystery for that decade.

I keep a shrine and I meditate while I "clean" my shrine. I light the candles, take all the objects off, and then put them back on again in a different formation. I'm not sure how much I'm connecting with "Christ" per se, but it seems to work for my meditation.

Also, don't forget to offer your daily Rosary in reparation for sins against the Sacred Heart of Jesus, and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, for the Holy Souls in Purgatory, and for the conversion of poor sinners!

The Rosary has helped my relationship with Christ. Before, I doubted the role of Jesus actually being The Son of God, i thought for a while thought over the Catholic faith and the center of Jesus being the Son of God. I accepted it gradually, now i'm fully a believer in the Virgin giving birth to Christ, who in turn died for our sins. The Rosary has been a big part of this.

No, but this one time I was with this catholic girl when I was younger and were going at it (I'm on top of her) so she starts panting and says "choke me, choke me, daddy" for a solid two seconds I was like wtf? c,h,o,k,e, her, huh? so she says it again louder so grab her rosary hanging out of her purse on my night stand and its just long enough to wrap almost once around her neck I held it there hooking my thumb and middle finger around both ends squeezing it around her neck awkwardly and she just about gets off right then about 2 minutes later she pops and then another 10 minutes later I pop, roll off her and she says "that was great but, why did you use my rosary?" I reply "why did you ask me to choke you?" and we dropped the subject and went to get some coffe.
