Historians, biblical scholars, archaeologists, and anthropologists have argued for decades about the existence of the biblical character known as Yeshu. Some suggest he was merely a conglomerate of older pagan myths. While others claim that there is enough evidence to prove that yeshu, or Jesus, actual existed in history. I would like to know totse's opinion on this long lasting debate.

BTW: All responses are welcomed but I would prefer them to be backed up with some sort os evidence or citation.

I'm starting to believe that such a man never existed, and that he was only "conglomerate of older pagan myths". My doubt is being brought about by the lack of contemporary evidence coupled with the fact that there were so many cults and religions with aspects nearly identical to Christianity.

You would've thought that some people of the time would've been thinking "wait a minute....this guy is the son of god....lets fucking write about him! right now! like a diary of what he does and where he goes"

But...they didn't, they just passed stories down through the generations through word of mouth, i think PERHAPS the real man did possibly exist, but, i think the truth of the man has been so stretched and been made soooo false there is really no correlation between the real and the bible what so ever
