is it just me, or can you be the most evil person and still be a catholic?

MS-13 always have tattos of crucifexes and the virgin mary, and they always wear those wooden cross necklaces. I've seen a picture of a MS-13 rally where there's a kid holding up a picture of mary.

La casa nostre (italian mafia) are catholics too, and italian guys snorting coke off the dashboards with hookers on the backseat are crossing themselves every time they pass a church.

So to be catholic, can you pretty much be as bad as you want as long as you wear that cross around your neck?

What I still don't get is MS-13 actually act as though they are religious people with tattos, holding up pictures of mary at their gigs, I don't understand, do they think that they're living for God?

Your religion has nothing to do with who you are. If you followed the teachings of jesus you'd be communist. In this case religion is like a flag, you carry it to rally support and pump yourself up. Remember almost all of the most horrid villains of the world claimed to be Religious.

how about you prove what you're saying first.

First of all, jesus was very religious. Communists beleive there should be no religion.

Ok, I was ambiguous, that I have to admit. I was talking about the general political ideal of communism, rather than an actual multistep plan outlined in the communist manifesto. Jesus's general feelings were

1) Give up your wealth, luxury holds you back

-Check

2) Help out the poor disregarding the reason for their poverty.

-Check

3) Disassemble a single aristocratic ruling family

-Check

wow...isn't that the basic principles of communism? Judging by the fact that you tried to argue that he wasn't a communist, I suggest you need to re-read the bible and try again.

stuff doesnt add up

in christianity, you are supposed to submit to an all powerful being, which is what communists are against.

i mean, sure there is supposed to be a temporary government after revolution, before communism, but in christianity, you submit to God forever.
