also, some of the translations from the bible aren't very good, and that could explain some of the "proof" they use, as Jesus being a "jerk".

seems pretty clear to me, they bring up alot of things wrong with religion. You seem to have a pretty biased and closed minded way of looking at that site

Religious people are some of the most biased, most closed-minded people out there.

My mother used to constantly pester me to listen to preachers, saying that I don’t want to listen because I know I’ll believe again and that I’m just scared. But I’d listen to the preachers, and they’d all say the same thing: Jesus loves you, he’s your savior, Thomas Aquinas’s five arguments, you’ll burn in hell, etc. etc. And it was all, imo, crap.

But my mother, when I said “well why don’t you listen to this guy? He was a preacher for 19 years and became an atheist”, she said “no, no, no, I don’t want to listen to him!” and changed the subject.

Now that’s bias!
