To understand people's beliefs has always been of great interest to me. Therefore, now that I have some spare time, I have decided to spend it studying all the religious texts I can to come to a better understanding of the world and the various people who inhabit it.
Because I have no money and don't want to spend money on a book I've read some of online and find rather ugly, I decided to order a free Koran online.
Also, are there any other religious texts I can get free copies of sent to my house via the internet?
PS, I live in England so it'll have to be able to be delivered to the UK.

I heard that the Koran isn't supposed to be sold anyways. I like that idea. I wish I could help you. Good luck and where did you get the Koran?

I was going to get it here: http://www.freekoran.com/
But I'm not sure whether or not it delivers to the UK.

I reccomend downloading quran viewer 2.9. (http://www.programurl.com/qur-an-viewer-koran-.htm) It contains some 30 odd translations including about 10 in english. It is 151MB but worth it.

personally I think we should abolish religion, and just have one place of worship for the believers, and some hangout place for the athiests, and tesla coils to zap the people who just want to fuck shit up http://www.totse.com/bbs/tongue.gif (http://www.totse.com/bbs/tongue.gif)

Try a library, that's where I got mine. And look for one that has a Muslim's commentary; it was written in the 7th century and some of it may seem confusing.

Everything is online, so if you don't like e-books don't bother with it. If you don't mind, then this is an excellent resource for religious texts.
