Lets just say that Jesus was real. Did he change the world, was there realy so much sin aroundthat there was going to be a ammegedon. If Jesus came now would he make a difference, would he be able to diminish the government to peas and make this world better.

No the christian church used him to change the world.

does that count as semantics to say that his image and identity was used to change the world, rather than him changing the world himself?

was the church using his likeness mearly a consequence of his direct teachings and the impact he had, or was reported to have?

or is it like saying 'tanks changed the reality of war', when it wasn't the tanks that really did it, but the tank crews?

but, without going into all that, it would be stupid to say the jesus has not had a huge imapact on the world (through whatever vehicle). how many things are done 'in the name of jesus' even today?

Seeing as how Christianity has become the largest religion in the entire world, I think that counts as a significant change.

Just take a look at what year it is. A lot of the world is now counting up from the time of Jesus.

Aye, did everyone know that the days of the weeks are actually named after Gods too? Such as Thursday being named after "Thor"?

He certainly has changed the world, but I don't think so in the way you mentioned.

If there was no Jesus and therefore no Christianity there would most of the western world might still be pagan. And if they were pagan maybe mohammad wouldn't of made Islam or at lest very differently seeing as it takes some stuff from christianity.

jesus didnt, but the people who wrote his story long after his death did, for the worse
