View Full Version : Christian mods removing threads that upset them.

I don't feel that everyone is being allowed to express themselves freely in this forum. Threads are constantly being removed when someone proves something against christianity.
Specifically the thread, "working against the lie that is Christianiy". For what reason was this thread removed, or was it just sour grapes? I'm sure ArgonPlasma2000 had something to do with it, although I apologize if I am wrong.
That's a good question. I hope it is answered before this thread is locked or disappeared.
Lost cause is not a christian.
And that thread was probably deleted because the thread stater drunk and failed to use capitalization.

That thread didnt prove anything except for the fact that you are kids that believe EVERYTHING that looks funny must disprove christianity.
Argonplasma was owning you noobs i dont think he would be the one trying to shut it down. That being said you are wrong and should appologize.

1st off, as has been stated, Lost is not a Christian. 2nd, Argon hasn't the ability to delete threads in MGCBTSOOYG.

I'd love to mod this forum, I love religion, but am sure I am less qualified than most members. This forum, contrary to the name, is not about bashing another religion.
Aside from the reasons already stated, the BBS software glitches all the time; that's likely what happened: the thread got eaten in a glitch.

So do you have an educated guess as to where the thread went? From what I recall, it didn't seem to violate any rules that would call for its removal.
^ Posted before I read Rust's reply.
Is there any way it can be retrieved or verified if it was purposefully removed?
Nope, at least not by any moderator.
Also, it could have been that the original creator of the thread deleted it himself (assuming easeoflife22 wasn't the creator - I don't remember).
It was AngryFemme. Maybe she'll chime in.

Just so you know, moderators can only delete threads that are in the forum they are assigned to.
I've always felt we've had the freedom to express ourselves on this forum.

It wasn't my thread. I'm pretty sure I posted in it at some point, because I remember going back to check it on more than one occasion ... but I was not the threadstarter. Besides - look at the topic! Not my style, sir.
^ Oops, sorry. I typed in "working against the lie" without the quotes in the Search feature and the thread came up with your name next to it, so I thought that referred to the thread starter.

Agreed. but within reason.
I'm pretty strict, but I usually just move inappropriate threads. I rarely delete them unless they are really heinous, spammy pieces of egregious crapola.

A large number of the threads in this forum involve alternatives to Christianity, or are focused around pointing out Christianity's flaws. I hardly see any threads at all moved out of/deleted from here.
For discussing any and all religious viewpoints. [B]Intolerance[B] will not be tolerated. Keeping your sense of humor is required. Posting messages about theological paradoxes is encouraged.

It turns out that it was the original poster who deleted it. He got tired of ArgonPlasma2000 to put it nicely.
