What do you think of it?

I haven't read it yet, but I think it's interesting to see that early Christians were not totally unified in their beliefs. The Christians that evolved into the modern church often concealed and persecuted other views, such as Gnosticism.

It's amazing that this thing went untranslated for thousands of years. I think it gives more credibility to the religion, proving that the bible thumpers of today don't necessarily hold the true spirit of original Christianity.

Technically "Gnosticism" as a general term wasn't really a belief. Many of the different kinds of Christians (Valentians, Sethians, etc) among other types of religion believed in gnosis, but "Gnosticism" wasn't a set belief.

All of the "lost" Gospels though, are fucking amazing to read. I especially like The Gospel of Truth.

Agreed. I'm big on the Gospel of Judas, myself.
