"God's Next Army"

http://www.jonhs.net/freemovies/gods_next_army.htm

I feel so bad for these people. They have no mind of their own, no free thinking whatsoever. These people are also running our country. I feel so happy to be living in "One nation under god"

Completely delusional... http://www.totse.com/bbs/eek.gif (http://www.totse.com/bbs/eek.gif)

Fuck, and to think only a year ago I was a Christian myself. I only hope my sisters (who are homeschooled) are able to "leave the fold" as I did.

I know this sounds like my usual sarcasm, but I am completely serious:

Democracy works marvelous, doesnt it?

Why does it sound like so many of you are for giving a vote to only niggers, spics, women, and God-hating morons? Nevermind that these people are freely expressing their religion as granted under the Constitution.

OMG, they have an INTERN at the White House. WHOA!!! http://www.totse.com/bbs/eek.gif (http://www.totse.com/bbs/eek.gif) http://www.totse.com/bbs/rolleyes.gif (http://www.totse.com/bbs/rolleyes.gif)

Too bad it would be far too idealistic of me to expect documentary filmmakers to actually tell the facts. At 9:00, I closed the tab. Ive heard some pretty ridiculously retarded things come from people who hate religion, and surprise surprise, its more of the same garbage.

Omg, parents that homeschool are keeping them away from the "mainstream culture". Too bad that idiot limey doesnt even know what mainstream culture even IS in America. Rap music, GEDs, extremely poor education, and baby's mommas: thats all there is to high school these days. God forbid someone keep their kids away from that! http://www.totse.com/bbs/rolleyes.gif (http://www.totse.com/bbs/rolleyes.gif)

OP, that video made me sick too, but it was more from ignorant filmmakers and people that supprt their arguments than anything, even the ridiculously poor education these graduates at the center of the film receive about their religion they hold so dear.

Reminds me of the kamikaze of WW2.

Ahh good. So you have the average grade of the graduating class to compare against Harvard?

Wait. Again, I am far too idealistic. I actually expected you to have some statistics to back up your claims.

Alas. I go wanting yet again.

Do you recall anything about Separation of church and state? These people (well, evangelicals aren't real people but I'll give them some slack) are studying law (so far so good here, nothing wrong with that) to impose their conservative evangelical ideals on our country(this is whats wrong). These are the same people who hate homosexuals and abortion. How does this stand for freedom in America? Am I a homosexual? No, but that doesn't mean people shouldn't be allowed to love whoever they want. These people are out to change that. All of a sudden America is less free than it already is.

You obviously didn't look at anything deeper than the surface. All you saw were some conservative christian people attending a conservative christian school, allowing the students to further relish in their conservativeness. If you would have taken 5 seconds to just think about what this shit leads to I think your reply might have been different.

I hope you reply to this, because I'm interested in what you think about what I said.

Ohh my, you mean separation of church and state functions as the thought police? No, it doesnt.

I suppose using your logic you could not function in any form of political office if you have religious beliefs of any kind. Nevermind that freedom of expression thing.

I am going to say this once and if you call me on it I am out of this thread:

Fuck you and whoever else want deny someone their right to democracy just because they believe in religion when you do not.

If you dont like it, tough shit. Use the government system like it was supposed to be used instead of bitching and moaning on the sidelines.

If you arent part of the mainstream, tough shit. Try to persuade voters to your side.

These kids are being taught that the bible can be used to teach everything. History, archeology, earth science(the big flood), politics, Biology and that the world is better if followed by the word of god. ETC. The biggest problam is when religious people say god speaks to them, and tells them what to do. To bad god doesnt actually tell you what to do and with the logic you can twist it into whatever the fuck you want, good or bad. I agree that in a democracy they have the right to do whatever they want. Hopefully majority of people could see through the bullshit and notice what these people really stand for. I'm shur if they were running for anypart of politics the opposition would point out the guys or girl is fucken retard who hasnt even gone through high school education. With todays personal attacks in politics and all.

You dont need statistics to show that they would do fucken horrible in regular tests.

Argon, Patrick Henry College isn't even regionally accredited. They claim they want to be a "Christian Ivy League School" and they can't even get regional accreditation. You'll probably say something along the lines of "Oh, teh SACS (the regional accreditor for Virginia) is biased against Christianity!!1" The fact of the matter is Patrick Henry College is just a bullshit missionairy school with a political twist and a right-wing agenda, and everyone who isn't a diehard fundy can tell it.

Furthermore, I'm rather shocked at your comment about people voting for "niggers, spics, women, and God-hating morons". What the fuck, Argon? I used to think you were a cool poster, and then you go and post racist, sexist bullshit like that that has nothing to do with the argument at hand. I hope it was sarcasm, but fuckall if I can tell. Why don't you just go ahead change your screenname to Digital_Buttthrax while you're at it?

Why would I not want to call you out on this? You and I are having a debate on a forum that we both voluntarily post on. If you're going to be a woman about this argument and just claim your right and then stamp your feet and walk away so be it, but it's still not going to stop me from replying. I am FOR democracy. As American citizens, these people just like anyone else, have a right to hold office. The problem lies in their motives. They are using the "word" of GOD as their reason for making decisions. These people are not good people to be in office.

I apologize for the personal attack on you, religion is just one issue that tends to boil my blood sometimes. I think we could at least have a civilized conversation yes?

I never fear the worst in these kinds of scenarios. Well, almost never...

Secularism is gaining ground in America, and the percentage of people who are willing to just sit back and accept ridiculous attempts at further shoving Christianity down the throat of mainstream, modern society is growing thin.

I believe in this. I hope for this. I have faith in this.

It truly does. Testament to that is the fact that we're not still burning heretics and stoning blasphemers and having witch trials. The people got sick of being governed by religious dogma and raw emotion, and they slowly changed it.

I think we're still inching forth, but I lose a little bit of faith in humanity every time I hear an otherwise seemingly intelligent person like you spout off about their 'freedom of expression'. Want to express your religious freedom? Go kneel down somewhere quietly and pray. And don't forget to ask your God to give you a heaping dose of love and tolerance that you might consider bestowing upon "women, spics, niggers and god-hating morons".

To run a good government, you need wise men that discuss things rationally, and make the propper choice that serves their country, and they must put their beliefs aside to do this.

Did anyone else find it odd that those guys were trying to eliminate money for victims of asbestos related illnesses because it cost companies too much. They were literally trying limit charity to victims, because they thought it was bad for companies and had negative impacts on the economy. If there is a God, those people are working for Satan. Who does that? I mean really. They're against justice and charity. I thought Christians were supposed to help people, not oppress, take from the needy, and spread hate towards others.

I don't think Jesus would be happy with their efforts, but Satan has a boner, who's first?

He won't reply. He's "out of this thread", because he knows there is no real rebuttal he can use without looking stupid.
