View Full Version : Is Earth simply a housing project for a race of super intelligent beings?
This probably doesnt belong here but i would like to share my completely hair-brained theory with everyone. I often find myself coming up with theories and im not sure why i chose this one to post but w.e
Over the past 200 years or so there is no denying that our technology as increased exponentially. once our technology started to level off (to an extent) our population rose dramatically. In this theory i belive that nearly all advances and discoveries were thanks to an alien (for lack of better term) race. Earth could be a housing project, or more likely a vacation desination. Similar to those 'resort community' developments advertised on tv by Erik Estrada for various lakes down south.
Think about it, earth is a beautiful place-water, trees, abundance of animals and life. Everything a cramped 'alien' civilization could ask for. They live their vacation as a lifetime in us. All the advances that have been made were solely for increasing the possible population, at the expense of mother nature. But these developers dont care, after earth is destroyed they will simply move onto the next planet containing life.
Prior to their involvement earth was a place of animals and humans in nomadic tribes and possibly small villages. Look at us now, we live nothing like our ancestors, but possibly in a way that an 'alien' race might feel comfortable. This can be compared to us going camping. We need certain accessories but even then we are not completely comfortable, but it is manageable.
Tell me how crazy i am. Or if this belongs somewhere else, i wasnt quite sure.

Earth is (to me) Known as simulated replication variation. It is one of many billions of batteries that light up your night sky, your dreams and your cats dog food. I love to play with magnets.
of course none of this even matters truthfully,, imj ust reambling

No, it's a giant organic computer built for pan-dimensional hyperbeings to discover what the great question to life the universe and everything is.

Why do we have such low seslf-esteem?
Guys, we are super intelligent beings.
We invented all those technologies, or moreover, science did. As much as religious people lament the increasing secularism of this world, it is science that keeps their children alive when they get sick. Science produces results, and that's more than I can say for prayer.

Sometimes, it appears to be more an inter-galactic insane asylum.

You should build a wall around it so none of the loonies can escape. Or just build a square wall and declare everything outside it as the insane asylum, then you can live on the inside of the square and prove that you are the biggest Douglas Adams fan in the world.

Hah!
You're so close on the money it's ridiculous.
How did you come up with it?
Are you heavy into conspiracies/the occult/weed at all?

this sounds like a PARANIOD DELUSIONS but, anyway maybe all of our greate scientists are really alien superintligent beings that have inhabited people bodies. Look at Einstien he was a drop of high school but, then created his theory of relativity and became an astonding mathmatical mind of the century.
theres my 2 cents

I come up with theories very often. Most involing the world ending or a conspiracy to end the world. Some also involve someone sent to destroy information because the race became too intelligent, such as Cortez destroying the Aztecs and destroying all their knowledge. I am fascinated by ancient civilizations. I have also made theories where there are 'patches' to the laws of physics and human intelligence (similar to a video game being upgraded). Mostly so that structures like the pyramids could be built fairly easily for them, but to us they are absolutely amazing because we cant figure out how they did it. Basically, as our intelligence increases, our physical world becomes more difficult to understand.
EDIT: Also many of my theories tend to involve that the major changes were brought about by said 'patches' and the human(s) who did the actual physical initiation were sent by a higher being.

Lack of evidence isn't evidence of anything.
It seems basic enough, but somehow people get it all twisted up and assume that because we can't explain something, the explanation must be incredible.
