yea that sounds like a really nice rig.

anything with close call is great and with the ranges you should be able to hear quite a bit of local chatter.

as long as it has what you think you might be interested in, then it is a good scanner.

If memory serves me right, I believe that's basically the BCD396T without APCO-25 capability. From what I've heard and seen, it's an excellent unit. That price doesn't seem bad at all, either.
