Does anyone have a list of scanners that are capable of receiving cell phone convos?

The most you'd find on 800/900mhz out here in australia is just old cordless phones.

ICOM R5. You more than likely won't hear the cell phone convos, though.

Basicly all EU (UK) scanner models cover from 25-1300 mhz no gaps. hard for me to say.

You'll catch analog transmissions around 890mhz. They only stay on that frequency temporarily then break off and go back to digital.
