This is going to be a very nubbish post just to warn everyone.

If you're still here after that, then great, perhaps you can help me figure this damned thing out.

For a while, the local goverments here have been using 800MHZ scanners, but still have a patch from the 800's to the 100's. I can only get the fire department dispatch because that's all that gets patched over.

Anyways, it wasn't till today during my radio op. course for the fire department that I wanted to figure out how to program my scanner.

If anyone has advice, it would be greatly apreciated.

Hate to say it but the Pro-97 is Analog Trunking. And most, if not all are digital TG's.
