View Full Version : ATTN: SAMMY and Moustache rider
You guys keep going around posting links without an inkling that you even looked at them yourself. You have flooded the forum with similar bullshit topics. I made this topic especially for you two, I challenge you to post any creationist claim and I will single handedly debunk it. In order for this not to get retarded here are the rules
1) One claim at a time (I really don't want to write a 10 page refute in one sitting)
2) Post the claim not the link (It has to be YOUR CLAIM not someone else's) which brings me to
3) Post in concise statements and in your own words (I don't want a copy/paste which would be an equivalent to just pasting a link)
4) If possible provide a trustworthy source. Bible.ca/ICR/CSE don't exactly count as unbiased, if you claim that you found dinosaur tracks next to human ones why can't you find it on a paleontology website? If you don't provide a credible source (hell i'll even accept wiki) I will still debunk the claim, but simply calling that claim a lie is also an option.

Why hasn't anyone figured out yet that mustache rider is a troll?

This is a forum on Religion... it's all "bullshit." Why you guys can't just let the religious go on believing in the invisible man is beyond me. Methinks you complain too much...

Why is it OK for people to remain ignorant and retain superstitions from 2000 years ago? It's hard to let someone believe in teh invisible man when it leads to:
1) Terrorist attacks
2) Abortion bombings
3) Child Abuse (http://www.veoh.com/videos/v264969XwzJN96C?confirmed=1)
4)Trying to make America a "Christian Nation"
5) Destroying Science with legislature where they don't know what they talk about (Stem cells etc...)

Were all guilty of stupid shit, it's part of human nature. If you got rid of religion tomorrow we (humans) would find some other reason to kill one another. BTW atheists have killed plenty of people too... religion doesn't kill people, people kill people.

"People will do bad things anyway" is your justification for not debating issues? That's pretty lame! If one believes that the future would be better off if we embraced rational beliefs over faith based one, then he has all the justification he needs to debate these issues. If you think people are "just complaining too much", it would be much less hypocritical of you to just not take part in these threads rather than "complain about it too much" here.

I am not being "hypocritical"... I am being honest. I come here purely for the entertainment value of it. I do not intend to change anyones mind while here... in fact I am of the opinion that very few ever change their minds due to some argument had on one of these forums. Most Atheists are just as rabid as their religious counterparts I am simply trying to inject some levity... What is "hypocritical" is for one group (atheist) to claim that they are better than the other (religious) when in fact both of you are covered in blood.

No, you're being hypocritical. You are complaining that people are "complaining" too much. This is what is expected on this forum. It makes just as much sense to comment on a political forum that Democrats and Republicans should just let there differences go. Humans are always going to debate and attempt to justify why there beliefs and ideas should be given more credence than another's. Posting in a forum where this is done that this shouldn't be done doesn't make much sense.

How are you trying to do that? Asking people to " let the religious go on believing in the invisible man" and saying "Methinks you complain too much" is not injecting levity.
I haven't seen the majority of atheist ideas here as being rabid. It's on the whole pretty civilized and makes appeals for others to embrace their rational side and accept that believing fantastic claims without sufficient evidence doesn't make a whole lot of sense.

This is false and I think you know it. Atheists don't kill because of atheism. "Atheism" doesn't have blood on its hands. The fact that people who were/are atheists have killed is irrelevant. I think it's fair to say that Blades of Hate's examples of terrorist attacks and abortion bombings frequently are done because of religion. You are also ignoring his other reasons such as others wanting to rid the nation of separation of Church and State and keeping stem cell research from going forth because of the faith based belief that a three day old collection of 150 cells has a soul. I believe these are good reasons to "complain too much".
^ I'm guilty of doing what others sometimes do that is a pet peeve of mine. I have hijacked the thread arguing with someone about something that is irrelevant to the OP. I'll let Jove get the last word and quit here since I made my point the best I can.

All excellent points, needless to say we disagree, but I won't go into a long rant about it. I will join you in no longer "hijacking the thread" and simply agree to disagree.

I'm with Hare_Geist on this. All mustache rider does is try to provoke people with nonsensical garbage, and then bicker with them. He does not act like a self-righteous holy roller anywhere else but in here, so I've no choice but to conclude that he is nothing more than a childish antagonizer who relieves his boredom by inflicting his brand of idiocy on others.
Edit: I felt this was relevant to the topic.

What I mean by bullshit is posting a random link that was retracted by its creator in a new topic. THAT is bullshit, also I still have no creationist claims to own.

Give me claim and I give you face trounced.
