So now that the fascist mods here are too busy breaking kneecaps to censor my legitimate opinions, let's talk about something that actually matters.

This week the liberal Supreme Court ruled 5-4 that CO2 is an eeeeevil pollutant and is now going to force the EPA to regulate it. Nevermind that CO2 isn't a pollutant and sure as hell wasn't considered one at the time of the Clean Air Act. The law and the Constitution never get in the way of the activist liberals on the Supreme Court.

This is an assault on freedom. This will ultimately weaken the American economy and rob the consumer of their freedom to choose.

Now let's hear your pathetic opinions.

it is a pollutant though. but not to worry, everyone makes mistakes.

it wasn't put in before because of political pressures, but now there really isn't much denying it. yes this will 'weaken' the economy, thats why this is being done fifty years too late, no one wanted it. but this is the price that has to be paid.

(good call on the kneecapping though)

Not only are politicians not scientists, but they don't give a damn about science. They slash budgets to research, ignore every bit of advice that is freely given to them, and wonder why our scientific economy is moving overseas.

doesnt matter, global warming will continue either way. All economies will be weakened, if not crash in most places. Buckle up! were going for a ride.

So people should have the right to chose even if their choice is damn retarded and causes significant harm for others?

I'll remind you of that when I make the free choice to shoot you and your family.

c02 is a completely natural gas, we need co2 to live and grow. getting rid of c02 will help nothing, it will just hurt the enconomy and fuck everything up

Emmiting net CO2 means you're using fossil fuels.

Fossil fuels will RUN OUT.

Making companies reduce emmisions, and therefore fuel use, now will help them later; they'll be better prepared when fossil fuel prices skyrocket.

So I'll be good LONG TERM for the economy.

There. I just provided an argument for control of CO2 emmissions that DOESN'T even mention global warming.

This is so laughable...

So tackling global warming will hurt your economy?

Guess what will hurt your economy even more....

NOT tackling global warming.

Like it or not champ, your economy is dependant upon nature, as well as other countries in the world.

If we fuck this planet up, it doesn't how much money you have, you're still fucked.

And considering most of those politicians probably own significant interests in the oil industry and rely on big business for backing, i'm hardly surprised at the ruling....

edit: not to mention, inefficiency = profit (quite often), but that doesn't make it morally right...

I don't have a pathetic opinion, but I do have a opinion which is...

Your government got 'pwned' as it were. You think your government is the almighty yet the pussy liberals as you imply them as being bend it over and fucks it, hard.

I don't give a rats ass about politics, and only because you put a GP slant on it is why I'll leave it here and not move this...not that you probably haven't already posted this elsewhere.

As for CO2 not being considered a pollutant at the introduction of your Clean Air Act...Well things progress.

...heh kneecapping comment.
