I have this class PHI: 203 ~ Contempary Religions
It is the study of all the various religions.
So I have this project to create a new religion.
I need to make rituals, scriptures, ideology.... ect
So my concept so far is reality is like a infinite cork board and we are birthed like a pin pushed into the board and as we travel from moment to moment (second to second but maybe shorter). We move forward on this board (or plain of space & time)
I was taking a natural approach to this whole utopian society. Love for everyone from those who you like to even those you don’t like.
One good deed per day/ assist one other person out randomly
10% for a charitable cause
Meditation and relearning for a 3/4 days for new joiners
Landmark forum ideals.
Love for humanity
Humility?
Pride?
Yearly renewal and reflection
Societal means
Restrictism of commercialism
Mainstream trends & ideals

fear does not go with humanism. fear of a NWO and commercialism is a real weak basis for a religion.

It was not so much as the NWO that brought down the tower of babel it was the collection of all the peoples around that area. I take it that it is the NWO now that will bring about the end of days.

This is a work in progress currently being constructed as we go along. So as the days pass more thought is being put into it.

How about we change fear to the devil?
So NWO and commercialism is evil.

The 3 or 4 day intro to the church is a concept took from the Landmark Forum & the Cursillo movements.
During the course of the weekend one will learn the reason for tolerence of all religons.
I was also thinking of taking from the Landmark the concept that "Life is meaning less, and when you are told this you still put meaning to it." "Life is just a bunch of events that happen and when someone expriences these events they put meaning behind them."
For example a young kid is sitting on their mother lap. She stands up and the kid falls. The child then takes from this experience my mother must not love me for she shook me off her lap. The kid put meaning to that experience which had none.

most religions are based on fear. fear of hell is a big one, but that doesn't make it right. of course you are just inventing one, with no bearing on reality, but it would be nice to see one that actually practices what it preaches. if you preach love and tolerance, then do not fear.

i fail to see how a single world government can be blamed for the confusion for a thousand different lanuages, but maybe im just slow.

The problem with abolishing fear is I had the idea of ying/yang. Example if there was not bad then we would not understand good.
