If you lived in a drug attic you'd be gay too.

I thought Wiccans were teenage girls that are socially inept. Kind of like when fat women wear clothing that is way too small for them saying, "I'm dead sexy. You can't handle all this." You know... people that become delusional trying too hard to compensate for what is perceived to be unacceptable by society's standards.
I suppose it has something to do with with when they want to worship something "dark"and figure out that Satanism doesn't really worship Satan.

Because little girls love to play dress up and play witches.

I'm Wiccan, and i happen to be a white guy.
And there is nothing 'dark' about wicca. Pagans believe that 'energy' is god, god is energy. And when you die, your energy is redistributed and you 'become' the earth. Obviously it's slightly more complicated than that, but that's a simple summary.
And just like satanism, the media makes it out to be something it isn't. It doesn't involve stripping naked, painting yourself and dancing around fires, it also doesn't involve massive orgies. nor does it (necessarily) involve magic rituals. Most Wiccan people are normal, and hold down a normal job, and a normal life.
What does give Wicca a bad name, however, is the amount of kidiots who decide they want to join just to 'get back' at their parents. And believe me most pagans do hate them. Like they say, the minority doesn't represent the majority.
I didn't become a pagan to 'rebel'. I chose this religion because out of every religion i've looked at, this one conformed the most to my beliefs.

I believe that Without Trying summed it up fairly well. Sure, many odd teens choose to believe in it for their own reasons, but many people choose to believe in pagan ideas. I'm a white male and I have dabbled with Wicca and read about it, but I have never considered myself a real Wiccan.
I enjoy reading about all different types of faiths and beliefs and pulling certain ideas from each of them that I like, then forming my own belief system. The major religions each had some good ideas, but large pieces of those religions have become outdated and there is no reason to believe in everything for no reason-- but if you want to, then thats cool. The same goes for Wicca. I like the idea that "God" is energy more than the idea that he is a bearded white guy in some other heavenly dimension. Hell, we have a whole life time to believe in whatever the hell crazy shite that we want, so why not? Or if you feel that believing in anything is a waste of time then thats your choice and thats cool too. Hurray freedom.

I was talking about Wiccans not pagans. I'm just sick of only finding assholes who are into Wiccan. Thats why I know hang out with the Krishna's.

and those are the lame ones. Where are the orgies around the fire and circle magic?
Drugs are a way of trying to reach spiritual enlightenment. Sometimes the smoke is used as a mediator to talk to the spirits.

I would say I'm wiccan too, but in my opinion one must be a practitioner of something to claim the title for themselves... Thus, I call myself a student of Wicca.
Without Trying really hits the nail on the head, and is of obvious intelligence to answer any questions of Wicca and has my backing.
Also, The Torch, Paganism is almost identical to Wicca except that it does not have a deity structure. However, I am not Pagan so I can not really make comments on that.
Wicca is first and foremost a religion. A common belief among the various denominations of Wicca (per say), is the belief in magic. Since Wicca is a religion, 90% of the time any ritual will be a simple to the point enactment of honor towards the gods and seasons. There are times when magic is used as a group at these gatherings, but it is not the main priority and is usually reserved for when someone is sick and needs a good healing.
If anyone has any questions, shoot me a message on Yahoo and I shall attempt to answer them as best I can. However, with Wicca there is no "one right way" of doing or believing so my opinions do not necessarily reflect those of the greater Wiccan community.

Blessed Be ;)
I hope that the 'wink' after the 'blessed be' was to indicate you meant it in a sarcastic fashion.
Start saying that here in earnest and I shall have no option but to put you up for a ban.
Harsh but necessary...it's only a small step from 'blessed be' to writing magic with a 'K' and then there's no hope.
(in all seriousness american 'wiccans' with their 'blessed be''s get right up my nose).

Yeah satanists dont worship satan, but luciferian's do.
I think we should kill the pagans and wiccans. They are an annoying part of the social structure, and their ways of life conflict from a global government. Their tribes superiority complex stops people from uniting into a whole.

I suggest you do some research before you open your mouth next time.
Luciferianism worships satan, the members of which consider themselves 'antichrists' and 'enemies of good'.
Satanism advocates personal growth and development. It's a harmless religion.
The name comes from the story of adam and eve. According to the satanic bible, satan gave mankind the forbidden fruit as a gift, the idea behind which was that knowing of both good and evil is the source of all wisdom.
They look on satan with a neutral stance.

To be fair to him, the first time a satanist told me that satanists don't believe in satan I was surprised too. Up til then I had kind of asumed that only bible scholars and some extreme evangelical groups actually realised that no where in the bible does Satan appear.

I may be wrong, but wasn't Satan explicitly called Satan in Job and during the temptations of Jesus?

I thought that was Gnosticism where the first God was evil and smightful, then a second God came along to give human kind knowledge and to save it from the first God.

Yes, you are wrong.
The word 'satan' simplys means =adversary, opponent. Its not a Name.
It can refer to anyone. There is no mention of some supernatural horned Ober Nastyness.
Jesus even calls Peter 'satan' at one point.

Wasn't the angel that God bet with in Job an adversary? I could have sworn he was explicitly called Satan. Or is it you are using the logic that the Bible never called anyone Christ because Christ just means messiah and wasn't a name?

More or less.
I think that the reason many Wiccans are younger women is that A. historically the pagan religions had heavy female influence, and B. Younger people are more open to new ideas.
I was Wiccan for a time, but decided that like Christianity, it wasn't for me. I am currently a non-denominational pagan.
(in all seriousness american 'wiccans' with their 'blessed be''s get right up my nose).
But is it really any worse than 'God be with you'?
