Of course you're right (prayer being ineffectual) but these people are religious wackos. Not praying for us is the same as having ill will towards us... its that whole "hearts and minds" scenario.

I completely agree. I can't imagine how embaressed the moderate muslims must feel by statements like this. The only reasone this was said was to stir pride in the Islamic radical factions. I also think its horrible that it takes a tragedy to bring humans together and now even that isn't happening.
