I figured there would be a thread on this already, but I didn't find one. If I just missed it, please point it out to me.

We are all no doubt aware of the bill that will increase the royalties internet radio broadcasters pay. I think that this (http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/18384667/site/newsweek/) article provides some good details, if you want to read.

Obviously, we're all going to feel the same way about this one, so I'm not here to ask for a bunch of editorials or anything. I'm here to ask, what can I do?

I plan to write to my Representative. I have finals this week, but as soon as those are done I'll write up a letter and shoot it off. As much as I'd like to put my faith in the democracy, this seems like its not going to do much good. Is there anything I can try to do to make more of a difference? What are you gong to do?

Also, can someone point me in the direction of a list of artists that are part of the Recording Artists' Coalition? Again, its something that is probably frivolous, but for my own self-righteousness I'd like to make sure I don't buy anything from any of them.

Thats great that you'll be writing something.

I wouldnt worry too much...there are so many small streams out there that they will never be able to control.

"Also, can someone point me in the direction of a list of artists that are part of the Recording Artists' Coalition?"

Sorry I cant help you there.
