The amount of stuff out there to read is daunting and there's no sticky on this page telling me where to go. So I was wondering if y'all could find it in your hearts to tell me what the best resource is when it comes to... ermm... I actually dont know anything about radio... so I guess I should start there. I want to start my own pirate radio station this summer just becuase im badass... or a loser :D

trawl through the text files on here and on textfiles.com, wiki the radio spectrum and follow the links, google pirate radio and LPFM, and just keep clicking links untill you have a background. you will find like minded people out there.

thats how i started, then found local radio club site and it went from there.
used wikipedia as a base, refering to spectrum ect.

some microwatt tx in my fav menu.
http://antiqueradio.org/transmitter.htm
http://www.aaroncake.net/circuits/fmtrans.htm
http://www.uoguelph.ca/~antoon/circ/fmt1.htm

ill get some more links if i can find em.

tax your ass along to the library. its amasing how much info there is. there will be a book that suits u.
a ham's-clubs stuff sale, for radio books. i got a shit loads of my reff material that way.
