I need a new cordless phone, and since none of the fuckers I've gotten lasted a year, I thought I'd see if anyone knows of a good one that will actually last. I've tried a variety of brands, all with the same results. Does anyone have a recommendation of a good cordless phone (and answerer)?

For some reason, this doesn't seem like the right place for this?

I wasn't sure where to put it, but I figured the people here would know most about it.

the older 900mhz are your best bet.. they are cheaper, and plentiful in thrift stores too.

they are better than the newsr gigahertz because 900 goes through walls better and seems to get longer distance too.

most folks think the larger 2.4 and 5.8 gigahertz are better because the numbers are larger.. but the facts are that the smaller wave lenghs make them a very bad choice for portables..

i can't believe they push this crap on us.

i'll hopefully post some other updates soon since it looks like i will have at least limted net access soon :)

i miss everyone here :(

(except buttthrax and the other USA radicals :]
