Karma when taken literally is meant to determine what caste you are reincarnated into when you die. The people therefore who are born into the shitty lower class are simply taught that they were born that way for their past sins and not to worry about what their being punished for but simply that they have done wrong and are now suffering for it. Your motivation to do better is not drawn from the specifict incident but rather your collective actions, you then are supposed to improve your dharma which are your actions so you can be reborn into a higher caste after you die. Taken non literally it could be thought of as later guilt for bad actions, not literally fucking you over but that you know you did bad shit.

I know. And also there are trillions of insects and microscopic life forms. So wtf is with that. I suppose that for reincarnation to work there must be some divine being which decides the fate of all life forms in the universe in order to keep the number balanced, or maybe you are reincarnated in a different time or some stupid shit like that. Reincarnation = fail. Life after death I see as a possibility though. I personally havent totally dismissed the concept of duality, even though I dont agree with it.

i just believe in heaven, and that's it, everyone after death will be enlightened by God himself and then finally know the true religion of everything, n we'll just live comfortably forever in his kingdom, i dont believe in punishment... ^.^

i think its crap. really. i can say i was a german SS officer and died from an injury to my theigh and was born in 1905. everyone as a little kid likes to pretend their someone their not. so why cant a little kid just say that's what he is and that's that. and look at the numbers. statiscically. and if we had past lives, why would we forget them? why would we have different abilities in them than we do now? we do we look different? why do we live in different areas? exactly, reincarnation is just a stupid idea.

You kill someone, the damage you've done to that person, the pain of death plus the pain of greif and mourn on the victims family and friends will all be calculated to one number, let's say its 1337 damage points.

So that damage points will be done back to you. It can happen slowly spread out throughout your life, or at once.

Karma expands beyond life to after life or another life. Karma will in one way or another bitch slap you.
