View Full Version : Finally, I get it.

While mowing the lawn, I finally understood.

Christianity was created to control the people.

If you don't do what we (the Pope, the priests, bishops, cardinals) say, you suffer forever.

The pope in the Middle Ages must have had an orgasmic amount of power. The church commanded that people give 10% of their salaries to the church. The church is a power structure.

His amount of power diminished significantly with the Enlightenment and when England switched to Protestantism, but people all over Europe still worship him.

Now, there might have been a Jesus, that spread the word about being nice to eachother. But it just doesn't make sense for someone like Jesus to go around shouting, "I am the son of God, and I am here to save you."

I finally get it.

Roman Catholicism is a fraud and it wasnt the pope who demanded 10% just so you know.

Some Churches sure. But the actual creation of the faith didn't have to do with power, control, or money.
