why are people born with natural abilities and greatness and get everything they want, when others are born naturally ugly and fat and are shunned as rejects and never do anything great, or just end up killing themselves alot of the times. if everyone is "created equal" why do some people live shitty lives and some live great? what makes a person from birth so blessed to be amazing when others arnt? why will some have fun in life and others wont? for example, im just mediocre in everything there is period, i make no difference to the world or to anything or anyone in general, what's the point of me being here? nothing would be different or change if i wasnt?
work harder. you will achieve more.
Well first off, not everyone is created equal. This is survival of the fittest. There are really talented, amazing people so that they will go on to have children and pass on those qualities, but however fat and untalented people are created so that they never get the chance to mate and those genes arent passed on. I am happy with this system, because i know that if ungifted people stop getting laid and stop reproducing and if talented people reproduced at higher rates, the human genepool will eliminate all of the bad genes, leaving only the good ones. So if you are untalented and worthless, I would suggest that you never reproduce so that your bad genes arent passed on.

thats kind of, VERY cruel, but everyone is told they're created equal and are given the same rights etc. i just think things are messed up, as for myself, probably the only good thing i would pass on is that i can run 4 miles in 26 minutes. =P

Do you live in a dream world?

^^^ yeah, usually the system works in the opposite way. it allows fat and stupid people to mate because there is no 'survival of the fittest' for humans anymore (at least for the most part)
anyways, countdown, if it makes you feel any better, it doesn't matter if you make a 'difference' in the world. we all end up as dust in the end.
Ya man I was just kidding about the whole "dont reproduce" thing. But just because everyone is given the same rights and opportunities that doesn't mean that everyone will be able to embrace them equally as well. you know, you cant really have any control over what genes people will receive and what abilities they will have. It might not seem fair but thats just the way it is, and you have to make due with what youve got.

but WHY do people have to make due with what they got, it just isnt right...?
Its just the way it is. No one made it that way, and no one can control it. The only way to find out why it is that way is if there really is a god and if he told everyone.

no it's not fair. if everyone was the same though, it would take a lot of fun out of life.
you just got to learn to live with it, or if it's something you're not good at, change it.
i believe if someone puts enough effort into anything they can learn to do it well.

but some people arnt even able to work out their own problems...? idk, i dont understand anything right now, nothing about this effects me? im just so curious, but idk wut's wrong w/ me im like emotionally unstable atm? never have been before. but i feel like breaking into tears fuck knows why. ive just always been a god damned good kid my whole life and never even had a detention before, and ive always made good grades, always kept quiet, always done what ive been told, and i just look around then there are just horrible people who live in life of luxuary? and then there are those who are so messed up they cant do anything about it and are treated like crap for that?

the way the world works. there's no sense in looking for rhyme or reason in it.
if you know anything about buddhism, you know that one of their truths is that life is suffering. that is to say, life has it's ups and it's downs. sometimes, it can have more of one than the other.
this is true and so we can only hope that the afterlife, if there is one, is better than the one we have now.

Dont think of stupid shit like this, be yourself and do what you do.
work smarter. you will achieve more.
fixed.
A bricklayer can work as hard as he wants, but at the end of the day, he's still getting paid by the hour, on the other hand, if he knows ways to screw off while working, he'll save himself time and give himself pleasure.

the hardcore religious will claim its punishments for the parents sins. Which is just more cruel punishment form there loving creator.
But really your confused because your looking for answers through god. But since there is no god, and no reason to believe so, you will find better answers and understanding looking else wear.
Some people (and animals) are born with defects because of genetics. Our DNA is constantly changing, thats what evalution is. Good DNA gets passed on like running fast etc. But bad things get passed on as well. And problems arise from combing half your moms dna and the dads. Something like down syndrome. Natural selection will force those bad genes to be taken out of the over all gene pool.
Stay healthy and pass on good genes to give your descendants a fighting chance to do the same.

This belongs in P:LRC...'created equal' is a national founding deal, not a religious one. This troll's beef is with Thomas Jefferson, not God.
I'll answer anyways. Genetics and privilege. We're all people, and we all follow the same rules. But just like sports, some of us can't play, some of us don't know how to play, and some of us can learn but we have nobody to teach us. Others have some talent and have coaches to hone their skills. Still though, if you kick another player in the face and spit on them, no level of retardation OR skill will stop you from getting thrown out of the game.
If you didn't follow, you're probably one of the kids who can't play. Just don't kill anybody, rape anybody, steal expensive shit, or lie too much and you should be okay. The kids who can play will carry the team to a mediocre finish as social reforms become more and more common...
