Or is this forum nothing more than a bunch of dipshit atheists claiming they're more atheists than the next, and stating over and over and over again that there is no god?

Sorry, a majority of us are atheists, the threads tend to get one dimensional.

Thers trolls claiming to be fundamentalist Christians. Atheists feeding the trolls. And a few people asking legitimate questions with a select few of informed individuals regarding religious text answering there questions.
Ow BTW. There is no god and my atheist dick is bigger then yours.
I'm not an atheist or religious. I don't really like to discuss religion that much....some of it though.
I really like to discuss spirituality.
this forum gets very repetitive, as it is not religion that is discussed, just religious people and their stereotypes.

That's pretty much what I thought, I made a post trying to clarify some issues involved in Hinduism a while back without getting a single response. I was bumped off the frontpage by a massive list of 'christians are wrong' 'there is no god' and 'atheists are wrong' posts within days. It seems to me that very few people actually know anything about the religions they're denouncing, just that they're denouncing them. They must feel pretty powerful in denouncing 'the almighty god' or something, lol. Regardless, it just seems like the atheist plight is nothing more than beating a dead horse...

^yes, and what's really ironic, or something, is that the god they claim doesn't exist--that is, the petty and vengeful deity of the Old Testament-- is nothing like the god I know.

You mean the one in your head?
I started this account for this forum. But, I realized that there are not a lot of people here that study religion in an academic sense. Then jackketch became a mod here and brought some of that scholarly knowledge. But he has disappeared, so I do not post as much in this forum once again.

Yeah pretty much. It is totse though. There are some good atheist posters but alot of them are extremely repetitive and don't even scratch the surface of spiritual discussion. They get some satisfaction from it plus it's 'in fashion' right now.
