here's a question for you guys. if you could choose what the afterlife would be, what would it be?
think up something creative and don't limit yourself by saying heaven, or reincarnation. if those are your choices, say what your heaven would be like or what you'd come back as.

You can choose!
If you put your faith in Jesus Christ and acknowledge that you are a sinner and that he died for your sins, you can spend eternity with your creator in heaven.
If you die without Jesus you will spend eternity in hell.

I'd like to be reborn into Jesus so I can turn water into wine, then walk in water and finally fuck Mary Magdalene hard whilst multiplying whatever the fuck I want. After that, I'd like to become Chuck Norris.

Thank you for giving an example of how stupid atheists are. :)

Unfortunately this is not the case at all. There is no Jesus or Satan, only the maggots that will feast on your decomposing corpse.

valhala i am comeing
over all valhala seems alot better then heaven though i would rather be sent to a place with every drug imaginable and no withdrawle or comedowns

Afterlife hasn't been disproven.
Neither has the existence of a Flying Spaghetti Monster. Do you believe in that just because it hasn't been proven?

Do you understand that NOTHING that can't be experienced or recorded CAN'T be disproven?? The afterlife, like the soul or god are NON-FALSIFIABLE. But, so are fetuses living on the moon, colorless green ideas sleeping furiously and the 25th dimension.
I would choose afterlife to consist of 5 minutes where my questions are answered, then it ends. I DO NOT WANT some eternal afterlife, that is just plain scary. I just want it to end in peace and return to the void.

you could have an afterlife where you could end it whenever you like. it doesn't have to go on forever if you don't want it to.
if it were me i'd at least give my choice of afterlife a try. then i could decide if i wanted to end it.

Valhalla! Fighting giants on the plains of Asgard by day and getting drunk and feasting at night! Yes! :D

I really like the whole Buddhist take on it.
You reincarnate until you have no Karma, and you attain Nirvana, transcending life and death.. It's about as close to a religion sanctioning nonexistence as I can think of.

Yeah I do understand. Im only sayıng that because the one poser was specıfıcaly sayıng ıt was defınıtly fake whıch he cant say wıthout a doubt. Personaly I dont know what I belıeve. I thınk a pseudo afterlıfe could be possıble.Say the ınstant you dıed tıme stopped beıng percıeved. Certaın drugs cause tıme dıstortıon and DMT occurs naturaly ın the braın. Who knows based on the lıfe you lıve maybe specıfıc thıngs happen ın your braın whıch cause specıfıc chemıcal reactıons to happen when you dıe whıch wıll then determıne how your afterlıfe wıll be. So your afterlıfe would completly depend on how you lıved your lıfe. Maybe thıs ıs why there are ıdeas about heaven and hell. Maybe ıt ıs kınd of lıke the ultımate dream. Maybe these chemıcals cause people to hallucınate when they have near death experıences. Who knows though I have no scıence to back up those ıdeas.

If I could choose my own afterlife, I would desire it to be a unification with a universal consciousness. I would hate to be reincarnated since I've already had enough troubles in one life (or many if reincarnation is accurate?).
While this would be a loss of individuality, I imagine it would also be the ability to pervade the essence of all things. Sitting back and observing the wonders of the universe. Knowing and experiencing all while simultaneously being present for it in the past, present, and future.

has anyone seen waking life? I like their version of death.
Basically, the last 5-6 minutes of brain activity (which remains after a person is dead) is the afterlife. As we all know dreams seem to take hours, yet only last a few minutes.

I would definitely choose reincarnation.
If I knew It would happen, I would live fearlessly, confident at renewed fresh starts despite flawed physical forms brought about by overuse/misuse/brain damage.

^Who sounds stupid now..?
Well if i really could chose.
Then i guess i would sleep forever and ever.
No problems there.
If there were an afterlife, I would want it to be like the Holodeck from Star Trek, so you just get to live through your life again differently, or other people's lives or just go on crazy, coked-out adventures through time and space.

If I were allowed to pick and chose, I think reincarnation might be the go. It would be even better if I was able to have some type of recollection of all my past lives as I pass on from one lifeform to the next as well.
Am I allowed to have that little bonus?

remember, people. He said "if you can pick and choose."
I wouldn't choose heaven, because pure order can't exist without disorder. . . and at best, it would really really bore me.
Hell is out of the question.
I'd choose the astral plain, since we'd still supposedly have connection with people on earth.
-Second up would be reincarnation with full memory of my past (but this might not be such a good idea, at the rate our society is going).
