So many of these threads and the arguments within argue against the xian religeon.
Will there ever come a time when atheists get over their disbelief in xianity and begin exploring something else?
Its crap when potentially interesting threads are limited to the context of xianity.

How does one get over not having a belief in something? What else would you like us to explore?

Is there a specific thread you're bitching about?
Muslims argue with scimitars
And honestly, others aren't relevant. I don't give a flying fuck what they believe in in Tibet, they don't have an agenda to push their beliefs into my legistlation and whatnot

By not feeling the need to argue against it all the time. It's almost like your trying to convince yourselves rather than anyone else.

We don't argue against it all the time. We argue against it here because of the topic of this forum. Go to a computer forum and you'll be sure to encounter atheists and you won't be aware of- because they'll then always be discussing computers.

^ Sure but they won't always be discussing the same aspect of computers all the time.
My point is many threads are argued within the context of xianity even tho the atheists have already made up their minds that xianity is BS. What's the point?
This forumis about religion and spirituality, not just xianity.

That's because there's many aspects of computers. The only aspect of atheism is disbelief. If you look around, atheists on this board are doing more than repeating that they don't believe. There's a lot to talk about and the same old tired questions are still being asked again by theists: "How can you atheists prove that god doesn't exist?" Us atheists answer- I don't see why you have a problem with this.

People usually argue against something when they have already made up their minds. This is no different than what Christians or other religious people do in this forum. Why are you singling out atheists?

Who stopped you from starting a thread where you specify what you'd like to discuss? Why are you bitching about atheists?

Because it's atheists who always argue within the context of xianity. Even if the initial post isn't created within the context of xianity.
Or if an atheist starts a post it's usually within the context of xianity, so if a none xian wants to contribute he often get's the "We are talking about xianity here, not your beliefs".

No-one, but atheists so often seem incapable of discussing a topic unless it's within xian context. It's like they have an arsenal built up just for apposing xian beliefs. All I'm saying is "Okay accept that xianity isn't for you, now let's see what else can be discussed".

You're very wrong here. Take another look at the posts on this page alone.

When we are talking about Christianity, then yes. But very often the topic is belief in God/gods and it's usually a Christian who will bring the Christian aspect in to the discussion.

Start a thread and bitch about if and when it happens. I don't see a big problem here of atheists arguing against the Christian god and not giving equal time to God/gods in general.
To some degree, the Christian God is going to end up being discussed more because most believers on this board are Christian. Again, start a thread discussing what you'd like and if someone goes off topic, then bitch.

Start your thread about other gods and I'm sure you'll get the argument you're looking for.

They are coming from a different perspective. They get frusterated sometimes when somebody comes on and says some stuff that is unknowledgable about science but the same goes for them.
They won't always understand what you are talking about if you are coming from a spiritual focus. Also when talking about science it's alot more rigid so when you say something about spirituality it could be a sweeping comment but they will interpret it as a 'christian' comment. There is a good amount of confusion and misinterpretation in this forum.
I believe this an appropriate moment to say "God dammit" just type out Christian. Could you have any less respect for your own religion. So little care as to not wish to type an extra 6 letters. I'm sure the Christ that you worship so will be pleased to know that his name has been replaced with an "x".

I tend to try and write it with an 'X' on purpose. Back when I was a kid we were told it was a sin and punished for not writing out the 'christ' part of Xmas! So a bit of personal protest on my part.
You see but these people claim to be good "xtians". They would never consider being associated with a deviant sodomite such as yourself. Unless they need forum favors and then its suck suck.
Speaking of that your my favorite moderator!
Oh and "make out" and "v-card"
