baptised at birth, my parents (grandparents actually) taught me about christianity, and that is what i believed until grade 8 or so when i began to realise that christianity is bullshit, little by little, now i dont really care about that, i just live my life how i want to.

pretty much every belief i have, i've thought of myself. that's not to say that other people haven't thought of them first, but just that i didn't have any help.
i just spend a long time contemplating the the big questions in life, and when i find an answer, i try to keep my mind open and challenge those ideas.
it all started though, i think, when i went through a little depression period when i realized that i probably don't have any purpose in life.

I have no idea really to be honest. I've always been interested in the old Norse gods. But I think it must have been over a year ago I was reading a novel, where the main characters were all Asatru (Odinists) which rekindled my interest in the ancient religion, so I looked into it some more, got in contact with a few other Odinists, and it just went from there.
Oh and the fact that my ancestors had this faith helped

baptized at birth, raised christian, then about last year i looked into every religion, and took fond interest and studied them all, contacted ministers, priest, buddhist priest, hindu w/es? damn, i can never remember what they're called. and finally came to a conclusion of my own beliefs, which i posted before, and my horizons have even brodened and becomed more enlightened since, and how i started to write everything i wrote, i just prayed to w/e God there was there doubting there even was one, and was about to give up on all religions, then i woke up the next morning and everything came together and i wrote...

I think mine began from hearing a Bill Hicks quote. It got me thinking and sparked off a huge journey of exploration.

Was raised neutral. Took part in christian traditions but never went to church. My parents never really talked about it muhc. I now know that was on purpose to let me figure stuff out on my own.
Then I started watching stargate sg1 lots, with all there killing of false gods who enslave humans. Which got me intrested in religion. After some studying and intrest for a few months i ended up atheist.

What was the quote?

What was the quote?
"Today a young man on acid realized that all matter is merely energy condensed to a slow vibration, that we are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively, there is no such thing as death, life is only a dream, and we are the imagination of ourselves."

I was raised with little to no religious influence, and one day when I was 11 or 12, started talking to a friend about christianity. Basically, he told me that jesus was super duper. I did more research into religion over the years, and eventually came to the conclusion that all religion is bullshit.
Now I'm an atheist. :)

I was raised to believe that there is a God etc. So I've always assumed that there is a God, it is not until recently that I have started questioning my beliefs.
