Expand please or [/thread].
oh and why are you any better than a paedophile?
everyone deserves to go to hell.
Because cheating on someone is bad enough to earn you eternal pain. Either God's a prick or you've been lied to, have fun with that

Why Nazis? In a way, they're just like Christians, thinking their way is right..
And after spending three hours trawling charity shops with your senile, stupid deaf old auntie, who insists on talking to every old bitch she see's about the sort of pillow cases she's looking for and the exact shape size color smell price and design she wants, you may re-consider serial killers as well.
It's odd that you put thieves up there with rapists and cheaters. Unless you're refering to thieves who steal from actual people not big fancy stores.
There are differrent levels of evil, and some are excusable.
But yeah, rapists and cheaters should deffinately suffer. But I think they should suffer in this life as well as the next.

Hell is a myth.
Not an actual location or place, but a state of mind one creates by willfully separating oneself from God. (Pope John Paul II said this, and it is probably the only papal statement I will ever agree with.)

What about Hell in the sense of the "under world"?

It's basic human nature to think that you are right.
Admitting that you are wrong is probably one of the hardest things to do.
Which is why zealots of any religion, and Nazis, are pretty much the same thing.
They're all intolerant douchebags with one viewpoint.
They should go to hell.

You're idea of intolerance being wrong - is it something you really question?
Have you ever thought that they might be right?
Have you ever really questioned YOUR fundamental systems and beliefs?

why would people who steal from actual people be worse then people who steal from stores?
i dont know why that quote thing didnt work but whatever
why would people who steal from actual people be worse then people who steal from stores?
Stores have a shoplifting budget. I on the other hand am fucked if you rob my savings and empty my home

phail :(
the bible has no mention of hell. it says we go into a dormant state until Jesus comes back to raise us all. We who followed will go to Heaven, and those that did not will remain on hell for 1000 years (where the fallen angels kick our asses).
Followed by this, Satan will try one last time to overthrow God, in which God lays his hand down and destroys us all for eternity.
-Either way, the people who "go to hell" are the people who sin. And, so it says, that we all are sinners and will fall short of the glory of God unless we accept Jesus as our lord and savior.
aka, if you steal a cookie and die right now, according to the bible, you will not pass go, but stay directly in 1000 year jail.

And you all wonder why I dislike organized religion
It's always good to think about these things either way, and you're off to a good start. :)

Yes, I believe the Bible is a holy book, and that there are definitely some unexplained things in there, but that doesn't mean I have to believe all of it.

No Xtians make that claim (and not all Xtians by any means). The bible makes no such claims nor does it know the Xtian concept of hell.
Actually the bible states only 12,000 people from each of the twelve tribes of Israel will go to Heaven. So only 144,000 people will be saved according to the bible.
Revelations 7:1-8
What about Hell in the sense of the "under world"?
It was pretty much made up in the medieval times. There is no mention of an "underworld" in the bible. There is mentions of pain and sadness if you turn from god, as you will be separate form him in the afterlife, but nothing of Hell as Dantes Inferno shows it.
Hell is a myth.
Not an actual location or place, but a state of mind one creates by willfully separating oneself from God. (Pope John Paul II said this, and it is probably the only papal statement I will ever agree with.)
so what does this mean exactly?
Basically "God=Joy, Separation from God = No joy, sadness, darkness, hell"

Uhm no. Some Xtians interpret it to mean that. But no body who has a smattering of understanding for the subject material (ie eschatological/prophetic writings) would understand it thus.

Um, which "under-world" are you referring to?
Surely not the criminal class, often referred to as the under-world?
The closest thing to that in my ken would be the Lowerworld of shamanism, which can only be accessed when one is in the shamanic state of consciousness.

Difference is that catholocism also cannot be seperated from it's beginning as a cult.
We can learn more from how humans have reacted to christianity than we can from christianity itself.
Also, people wouldn't come to a forum with MYMYTHCANBEATTHESHITOUTOFYOURMYTH as a title.

Yes, I believe the Bible is a holy book, and that there are definitely some unexplained things in there, but that doesn't mean I have to believe all of it.
"For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist." -- 2 John 7
"Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? ... Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord." -- 2 Cor.6:14-17
"If thy brother, the son of thy mother, or thy son, or thy daughter, or the wife of thy bosom, or thy friend, which is as thine own soul, entice thee secretly, saying, Let us go and serve other gods, which thou hast not known, thou, nor thy fathers; Namely, of the gods of the people which are round about you ... Thou shalt not consent unto him, nor hearken unto him; neither shall thine eye pity him, neither shalt thou spare, neither shalt thou conceal him: But thou shalt surely kill him; thine hand shall be first upon him to put him to death, and afterwards the hand of all the people. And thou shalt stone him with stones, that he die." -- Dt.13:6-10
"If a man lies with a man as one lies with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They must be put to death." Leviticus 20:13
And thus, the poster said "If thy doth dedicate ones life to a book, thy must READ THE FUCKING BOOK!"
Lol, I'm just kidding....bit of friendly fire?
Edit: Oh right, you don't subscribe to all of The Bible's teachings......okay, I didn't realise you were a non-christian. Sorry about that. I'll leave this stuff here anyway.

I think you have to think about how a non-believer will see your use of words.
I found them quite humorous. But I digress.
------------------------
The fact of the matter is, there is no great mystery to the Book of Revelations.
John (the writer of the book) was oppressed greatly by the Romans and sent to an island.
He was oppressed due to the fact he was teaching a non-pagan religion, and the Romans saw this as a threat.
So of course, John had to write in code, other wise he would probably have been killed (he got off lightly by being sent to an island)
Now, the Roman emperor who sent John to an island was called Nero.
666 is Jewish numerology for Nero.
There were references to how Rome was on three hills or something like that, and how royalty used to dress in blue I think it was. Then there's something like how many rulers there are with dragons heads and that or something - you're going to have to look it up yourself.
"Babylon" is literally the Roman empire. The Anti-Christ is literally Nero.
It was AIMED at the Jewish people and that's who he's talking about.
He did think Jesus was going to come back and save the Jewish Christians from Rome - he was living alone on an island, what do you expect?
It's all metaphors and symbols for the simplest of events.

To be frank I just needed to look at the sources he cites. Tells me pretty much what I needed to know. And then a peek at his website confirmed it.
