I could have sworn these (http://dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.4355~r.96035782) were outlawed because they cause harmful interference. Mind clarifying why this company hasnt been pwnt yet?

I mean, christ, just producing or advertising them could land you a year in jail here in the good ol US of A.* (http://wireless.fcc.gov/services/index.htm?job=operations_2&id=cellular)

I think my local police station has something like this cuz i get no signal within a block of the station. So maybe they attempt to limit them to government sale?

My High School was EMP shielded, nothing wireless worked in the main building.

Er... Why? Did they just decide to put lead in the walls?

That would be a very inefficient EMP shield -- it would need to be VERY thick. It would be great for trapping stray neutrons from uranium being detonated in the area, though...

EMP shielding would be more like a Faraday cage.

Apparently still legal in Canada, for now. Does anyone have any experience or recommendations as I would like to get one before they are gone.

That won't work in the US, since it doesn't affect the band used here. There is an instructable on adjusting them so they do, though.

Found it:
