I was going to spend quite a bit of my time typing out a well-reasoned posting about my feelings towards Christians, but I decided to save our collective time by simply stating the following: Jesus, the Bible, and your God are the biggest bunch of fairytale idols on this planet. Islam is the only other group on Earth that comes close to matching the worthlessness of the Christian belief system.

Your Bible is bullshit. We could be living paradise on Earth right now if it weren't for your backwards idealogy that applauds killing first-born sons, but denies humanity the potential benefits of stem cell research.

Children go without food in "the greatest nation on Earth" while your so-called loving religious movement spends it's money on multimillion dollar places of worship, under-the-table political contributions, and late night radio/television talk shows.

The list goes on and you don't need three pages of text to tell you what you already know. Unlike most Christians, however, I always understand that my own opinions and viewpoints could be wrong.

In the event that I'm wrong about the non-existence of your God, I'll be very shocked and can only hope that your Satan puts me in a position to assist in the *involuntary dispatch* of Christians on Earth.

Thoughts?

To be fair, people were violent self centered assholes before christianity, there are currently plenty of violent self centered assholes who are and aren't christian, and people will most likely continue on the same way once christianity has run it's course.

Sure, there will always be violence. My goal in that particular statement was to point out irony in the Christian movement's staunch opposition to stem cell research that could save or better the lives of humans all over the planet, all while they worship a God that kills first-born sons indiscriminately.

I was going to spend my time merging this thread into the thread it belonged in, but if you can't be bothered to read the front page I don't see why I should.
