So....what do you think; do you think they are right, wrong, etc.

I've been to some of their churches (the Unity Church Frank Lloyd Wright built) and the Irish Castle-turned church on the South Side. I was there for various anti-war activities; going to meetings, etc. They seemed okay and not mean so :p
Well what do you think?

If you think it's a good way to express yourself. To alleviate yourself of burdens and find some joy. Of course! Go for it!
But as you seem to be an intelligent poster I would suggest you go the path less traveled by and seek the spiritual path. -Through discourse with others and study you can make up your own world view instead of taking one that's manufactured.
Before you join up though, maybe check out what Rev Spong (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Shelby_Spong) has to say about the matter. He shares the ideas about what Christianity -should- be to modernize itself!

Boulder, Colorado is a "liberal" place to live in (at least O'Relily bitches about it a lot) and I find it funny that that you disagree with a "liberal" sect of Christianity

Well I didn't say anything about koining them LOL; just that I was interested in seeing what you think about them; gicen I've talked with and seen how some them are. I've been Agnostic for a while actually; but thx for the information (link).

Bill O'Reily. Ugh. What a douche.
Bill would have quite a bit to bitch about, wouldn't he?
And the reason I disagree with a liberal sect of Christianity, is because I disasgree with Christianity altogether.

Unitarianism isn't even really Christianity anymore. A lot of unitarians are atheists. My old Latin teacher was a Unitarian and he was really cool.

Ehm... I don't believe you.
Please explain how this is possible. The word unitarian means that there is a belief in ONLY God, rather than the trinity... yet the belief in only god is still a theism, therefore not atheism.
Correct me if I'm wrong.

Pfft, the trinity is stupid and according to the bible it's blasphemy. Honestly, have any of you actually read the book? It sure as hell doesn't seem like JC was "God on Earth".

That might have been the founding principal but my Latin teacher said it is now very humanist. I know another kid who said that he goes to a unitarian church and most of the people their don't believe in God. I'm not sure what they do believe in. It sounds weird but I've heard this from self-proclaimed unitarians.
a soggy waffle

It depends on what kind of unitarians your talking about, i know for a fact (go there many times a year) that the First Unitarian Society in madison, (designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/First_Unitarian_Society_of_Madison) is not very christian at all, it is a unitarian univeralist (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unitarian_Universalists) congregation

That makes no sense, assuming that wiki is correct.
Maybe you are thinking of Unity, which is a discrete group of atheists, nothing to do with Unitarianism.

No, the Unitarian 'ideology' (pretty damn loose) says that jesus was not divine, but he was a good philosopher and states that all humans are equal, and some other stuff. Other than that people are free to find what they believe to be true. Many of them are agnostics at the least, I went to one of their church services before Xmas 2007

They believe that you can find 'god' (loosely-applied here) in your own ways, not using a rigid dogmatic structure. Also fits with the lamp being a symbol of guiding to light and the like.
But yes many of them do reject Jesus being divine but treat him as a philosopher.
