Everybody, I just found a picture of the one and only God (yes, God, the God of all Gods and Goddesses, including gods and goddesses!) on the Internet of all places.

Did you see him?

^ A pity you see this as Half Baked.

I see it as making a very good point about the discussion of God. C'mon now, Rollo, I thought you were a true believer. Did you see him?

Try to see through the moral decadence and robotic demoralization that you call success first.

This isn't Half Baked.

Are you upset b/c you stared at it for 5 full minutes and did not see, hear or feel god?

I think you staring at this thing and convincing yourself something is there until you die sums up your views and life pretty well.

(hint: there is nothing there, as always, to see)

Something is definitely there. Stare at it for a bit, look deeper, and gaze at your very reflection. Therein lies the birth of this deity.

God is--by definition--infinite. To limit him/here/it/them/whatever to any single image is, well, limiting.

God is the majesty of the eagle's flight, the eagle itself, and the wind beneath its wings. God is the intrepidness of a kitten fearlessly exploring a paper bag. God is the fury of the storm and the peace of the rainbow. Most of all, however, God is love.

I agree. If you're not seeing God in that picture after five minutes, try looking in a mirror.

As with everything theist......you see what you WANT to see.

God is in everything, God is all.

People who believe otherwise have a poor understanding of the meaning of God.

Yeah, yeah....

People are illusions, beliefs are illusions, and so is poor, understanding, meaning and god.

We got it.....thanks for stopping by.

I greatly approve of this thread... which at the surface, ironically, would appear to be a thread which deserves no approval.

Good--I'm here to serve.

Laughter is healing, and I'm sure we can all use as much of that as we can get.
