Being a Minnesota Vikings fan myself I was wondering what you non-Viking supporters think about the rookie running back sensation.

What'd you think of his record breaking 296 yrd game?

Do you think AP is going to be rookie of the year?

Eric Dickerson holds 2 outstanding records. One for most rushing yards by a rookie (1,808 in 1983) and most rushing yards in a season (2,105 in 1984)
Do you think AP will break those records too?

I think Minnesota hit the jackpot with him. He's explosive through the gap and he can make people miss. I really think there is no competition for rookie of the year, he has, well not turned the Vikings around, but made their offense much more formidable.

However, de-throning Eric Dickerson will be quite a challenge, but if he keeps up his stats and stays healthy the rookie record shouldn't be too far out of reach. The 2k mark will be a challenge if Chester Taylor stays there, as it is tough to make that many yards when you aren't splitting time.

Hopefully that young team can develop this year and become a playoff contender in the north, I doubt Favre will be back next year so the division is really wide open with Chicago's poor play and Detroit's mediocre defense.

That was an amazing performance, only thing is he may save Childress' job. Not sure if that will turn out to be a good thing

AP is definitely the best thing the offense has going for them. Peterson took most of the hand offs yesterday but when he needed a breather Taylor came out and made a few big plays to get him 60 yards.

I saw that pic on a viking board I visit, man is goofy looking. Ever see Childress' hat during training camp? Now that was goofy

^^Which is a damn shame.

He's great for football. He's a lot of fun to watch. He just runs so damn hard, its going to be hard for him to stay healthy. I give him all the respect in the world for going balls to the walls 110% in every game.

As a Saints fan Im kind of jealous of him. He is what Reggie Bush was SUPPOSE to be. I still love Reggie tho.
