I hear crickets.
Of course all I ever want to talk about is the Celtics, who are obviously doing great.. 1st in the league in field goal % by a wide margin, 1st in the league in field goal % allowed by a wide margin, 1st in assists per game differential (+8.. 2nd place is Phoenix, at 5.91). The team is 9-1. They're on course to get 74 wins.
(shut up, I obviously know they won't, idiot)
(EDIT- I didn't realize this, but the Celtics also have the best Rebounding Margin in the NBA. 10 games or not, the Celtics are dominating the 4 most important stats in basketball.)
Gilbert Arenas is out for 3 months or so with an injury. This sucks because I have tickets for Wizards vs Celtics in January.
What else.. Milwaukee and Charlotte are the 4/5 seeds in the East respectively. I don't know what the hell the Bucks are doing right, but when you go look at the roster it really doesn't reek THAT badly. Charlotte is the same way.
New Jersey is doing poorly, that makes me smile.
The west is going pretty much as expected. The Lakers are going to be the big sleeper. It seems like Kobe has finally figured out how to handle himself, he's involving the whole team and is really putting on the nice guy face on at halftime/postgame interviews. I can see good things happening for them (with the exception of tomorrow).
