If you are in high school obviously the absolute best place to learn Spanish is taking Spanish classes, if available.
one of the best programs out there to learn Spanish is Rosetta Stone and you can get that off of various torrent sites, otherwise it cost a fuckton
It's fun to talk to Mexicans, you should deffinetly learn spanish, it's crazy.

Take classes and surround yourself with the language.
Once you have a decent grasp on the language, I'd recommend watching latino or hispanic televion channels and trying to piece together what's going on.
If you're given the opportunity, study abroad in a Spanish-speaking country. I've had several friends that did this and said it helped them improve immensely, as well as being a great experience. More and more public high schools have an international studies program, and I've not heard of a college or university that doesn't. You can get scholarship for that, too.
And last but not least- get Rosetta Stone.

Oh, don't worry. Compared to other languages, Spanish is a fairly easy language to learn, as most Latin languages are. I'm currently learning Portuguese and it's really not hard.
I found a nice site, it has a few pointers, and you can even learn some phrases and stuff too.

But yeah, there are literally tons of free resources on the internet for learning Spanish, and you could even possibly pick up a Spanish-English dictionary.
Plus, torrents are your best friend if you're looking for free audio programs (Rosetta Stone, Spanish tapes, ect...)
Good luck!
