It turns out some Christians are actually following biblical law in Nigeria. Witch hunts are back

You mean to tell me that the meme of Christianity TODAY has spawned the ancient meme of witch burning? I am completely taken aback by this information. If only someone had discussed this in an 18 page thread here, I may not be so shocked.

Theists the world over need to be taken down a peg or two, and I PROMISE the entire world will be a better place for it.

I meant they were returning to a practise earlier Christians performed, a brutal ritual sanctioned in the damn Bible. Who the fuck told you I was a theist?

I know your not a theist. I was not engaging in assholery with you. I discussed the memes of witch burning in a long ass thread a while back with a few asshats who disagreed that the witch burners had the same meme.

Notice how nobody has really commented in here. Theists assholes pucker when you mention things like witchcraft and inquisition. Out of sight out of mind.

Oh okay. I thought Christian meant follower of Christ. Here are some quotes from Christ.

You have heard that it was said, 'An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth.'
But I tell you, do not resist an evil person.
If someone strikes you on the right cheek, turn to him the other also.
And if someone wants to sue you and take your tunic, let him have your cloak as well.
If someone forces you to go one mile, go with him two miles.
Give to the one who asks you, and do not turn away from the one who wants to borrow from you.
(matthew)

But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you,"
"Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you.
And unto him that smiteth thee on the one cheek offer also the other;
and him that taketh away thy cloke forbid not to take thy coat also.
Give to every man that asketh of thee; and of him that taketh away thy goods ask them not again.
And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise.
(luke)

There's more of course.

You shall go into Canaan and kill all that you find there.

Mark 7:9 And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition.
7:10 For Moses said, Honour thy father and thy mother; and, Whoso curseth father or mother, let him die the death
