I think Jesus had NPD.
He kept walking around saying he was the son of God, yet we are all Gods children.
Besides it says Satan has control of the earth, and they had control of Jesus to the extent that they either killed him or made him go in to hiding.
So he might not have been that awesome.
But I am just speculating.

You're an idiot.
A funny thing happened. Jesus preached 'foregiveness', to refrain.
re·frain: to abstain from an impulse
--------------------------
We are taught to 'treat people like we want to be treated'
Jesus told us to abstain from the impulse to be the vehicle of God's wrath.
--------------------------
"It aint over till the phat lady sings (a refrain)": the circle aint broken untill we 'refrain' from the impulse to be a vehicle of retribution.
I think the insinuation here is that we create our own hell by not breaking the circle of how we treat others.
It's like we have individual karmic scorecards.
So what happens to us isn't anything we haven't done already to other people.
The 'fear' of a just reprisal is valid and I suppose that's why we don't go thru life expecting the inevitable (We don't know what's going to happen).
Is God above a refrain? Is God above the law? Probably not. So there's the 'hope' i guess, that God can refrain.

You're an idiot.
My thoughts exactly.
But to answer the question. I believe he existed. I believe he was wise beyond measure, and his teachings are nothing but beneficial, and I aspire to be like him.
I wouldn't consider myself a Christian tho, because I don't believe there's a need for organised religion. I believe we are all headed in the right direction. Simply by living and learning from experience are we all constantly moving towards a heavenly state.
But yeah, what an idiot. Have you even looked up a simple definition of the word hell? Whether it exists or not, it's not a good place to be, otherwise it wouldn't be hell now would it?

Karmic sacrifice. I've read about spiritual masters being able to take on bad karma of other people, to save them paying for it themselves.
That's why it's said that Jesus "sacrificed" himself. This is one of the grandest expressions of love and is 1: Why Jesus is so amazing and 2: Why Christianity places so much emphasis on the crucifiction.

Thank God I don't know all the answers, Eh? (that would make me omnipotent)
If God is the Force behind the Impulse, then I guess that is a pretty fair indication that it will never be over. (That's for those who expect some sort of End-time closures). May the force be with you.

Exactly. He also implied that he was nothing special, when he said "All these things I have done, you may do also--all these and more."

I don't get it, the "rules" of Christianity don't really make sense to me...
1) God is everything, and was here before everything.
2) He sent his son here to die for out sins.
Why would he have to have his son killed, why the fuck would Jesus have to die for our sins to be forgiven. If God is all powerful, whats with all the bad shit?
What a bunch of morons

If you don't understand then why do you presume they're morons.
My understanding is that Jesus willingly died for our sins to truly show how much he loved us. If someone was willing to die for you, would you believed that he loved you?
God didn't force anything on him.
It was just 1 very powerful way to show us an efficient path to what's known as heaven.
God didn't force anything on him.
There are degrees of force. We could assume for example that force is not applied thru psychological arguments.
