What are the signs that hes around the corner, and are we there yet?

I read an interesting short story in which Christ returned to Earth. People knew him to be the savior and rejoiced. Christ took up his ministries again and at the behest of a few disciples recieved corporate funding. Christ began doing product endorsments so he and his would have the funding needed to travel the world and spread the message.

Real funny story. Not as funny as the first story in the old testement though.

That story sounds kind of dumb since Christ is rejected by the masses, and will have them all killed.

Christ is already here, and he hates most people. It's pointless to know this since everyone rejects his truths and humanity is being left to it's self-destruction. He's probably just sitting in a chair somewhere shaking his head at your stupidity.

With all due respect to the Nazz, a truely awesome dude, the whole Christ is coming back thing is an artifact of the Age of Pisces. We don't need sole-source prophets any more.

Deepak Chopra has something like 25 books in print and they keep getting better and better. Every one of the CWG books--eleven now, I think--has been a New York Times best-seller.

The noisy religious nuts of all stripes are getting the attention, but there are thousands of folks like me who are more or less obscurely spreading the light.

Didn't Jesus already supposedly come back from the dead about 2000 years ago?

Personally I don't think it means his literal return, but the principles that he shared.
Similarly, when people say the only way to heaven is through Christ, I think they mean through his principles.

If you want to believe the Bible yes. He said he was comming back but didn't really give a timeframe.

Well thank you very much but I wouldn't quite compare myself to a fictional entity.

Actually, I wasn't really joking as the state of the world right now is a very unique one mathematically. Right now, we have or are very close to the maximum population that will ever exist on this planet, essentially meaning that all souls or most are present right now. This maximum population is a human climax, and lines up remarkably well with biblical prophecy. This doesn't exactly point to their being a God though, as humans of the past could have predicted such a future from past history that humanity would hit its maximum growth, and then fail horribly do to it. The second coming would actually line up quite well if it were to start in 2009. The reason is that astrologically the earth is about to finish a complete axial rotation and four constellations will line up, the four horse constellations in December 2012. 2009 would be a good place for it to start, and the tribulation would line up perfectly in 2012.
