View Full Version : How difficult will it be to actually get a classic TNT bundle?
stupid noob

Hehe, TNT is a three stage synth with a shit ton of purification. In short, tedious. Nitrate toluene once, yielding mononitrotoluene, clean that up real good, then nitrate again, clean up the resulting dinitrotoluene, nitrate a third time to yield a shitty final yield of trinitrotoluene, clean it up and there ya go.

i think he ment the classic acme tnt bundles of 3 sticks and such ...
stupid noob

Well that starts with manufacture. I didn't add in blasting caps. But to make the sticks it is heated gently until it melts, and is then poured into whatever casing you desire, then your blasting caps are inserted, and from there electrical leads to a control panel to control detonation.
Wow, stupid noob you really know your shit.

^ +1 for truth
You mean make a tnt bundle, or "get" a tnt bundle(ie. something that belongs in bad ideas)

not necessairely, small amounts of explosives are relatively easy to get legally in the USA if you've got a clean record.

i tie bundles of dynamite together with twine and throw them (with a visco fuse)
Sorry for being such an idiot but I meant making dynamite. Hence tnt.

If you meant dynamite, why did you say TNT? Dynamite is NG absorbed in diatomaceous earth.
Diatomacious earth is expensive as hell.

Thread starter obviously knows absolutely jack shit about explosives.
Regardless of what your intentions are you need to actually do some research.

^It's cat litter (some types anyway)
diatomaceous earth is the fossilized remains of diatoms
bentonite (cat litter) usually forms from weathering of volcanic ash in the presence of water
now they do some times use DE in cat litter but usally in smaller amounts with a mixture of calcium bentonite or more commanly quartz
i would be extremly surprised to find a cat litter that was entirly DE
genrally speaking it is a calcium bentonite or a mix of that and quartz

I think he gets explosives advice from AC/DC :P
'Cause I'm T.N.T. I'm dynamite
T.N.T. and I'll win the fight
T.N.T. I'm a power load
T.N.T. watch me explode

AC/DC could have meant it like dynoomite !!11! rather then dynamite the explosive if not i have just lost respect for one of my favorite bands over a simple stupid mistake.....

dynamite is easy as hell
you just synth some ng..then soak it into an inert material
i just soaked mine in finely powdered clay
dynamite comes in bundles
TNT comes in little square containers similar to lamp batteries

who the hell uses Diatomacious earth anymore
modern dynamite is gelled using nitrocellulose

Hate to be anal, but that would be gelignite or blasting gelatin ... also invented by Nobel!
Hate to be anal, but that would be gelignite or blasting gelatin ... also invented by Nobel!
hate to be even more anal but gelignite usually contains potassium nitrate and wood pulp to make slower burning, less sensitive and easier to mold

Wow, so the line between dynamite and geligmite has gone and passed away?

MEKP + AN in scottex cardboard tube. Paint it red, insert visco.
VOILA ! Dynamite ! And a proudly effective one at that. Not Uber-stable but takes a pretty hard shock to set off. Hammer test failed a few times.

Aah yes, mekp and cardboard, what could possibly go wrong!

Maybe you missed the part where i said "+AN".
Besides, common ratios in these type of dynamites run around 15ml MEKP for 100gr AN.
If you manage to leak it/have it absorbed by cardboard over AN with such a ratio, congratulations, you proved physics wrong.

The important part is the visco. I would assume that you know good enough to not insert until the moment of use due to the visco soaking up MEKP... however since you didn't state this any passing through retard could not realize this little tidbit...
Then they go out and attempt to light the fuse on their charge... and die.
And yeah cardboard is an inferior casing for MEKP/anything... as are some plastics...
AND a cap would help... a lot.
