View Full Version : Packers vs Giants
Can't wait for this game. Packers are going to do it right. Last time they met during Week 2, the Packers dominated the Giants 35-13. It's going to be a great game.
Make sure to thank the Cowboy fans for home field advantage too :D

Yeah, this is gonna be a tough game for the Giants. I'd love to at least try to be confident about it, but their secondary hasn't been real great this year. They've had their moments, yeah, but aside from their great pass rush up front, their defense overall needs some work. I think they're plenty capable of winning this game, but they'll need to play their absolute best and shut Favre down completely, something they failed to do against Romo and the Cowgirls. I wont' mind too much if the Packers go to the superbowl. I'm just happy it won't be the fucking Cowgirls. The Packers are a good team, and it'd be cool to see Favre get one last ring after they beat the Chargers in the superbowl. Yeah that's right. Fuck the Patriots too.

Packers by 10 pts or more. Green bay Can pick apart NY's defense easily. The run game will kill them, the short pass will kill them, and the deep game will kill them. GO PACKERS.

ZIV YOU FUCKING ASSHAT
Dont close threads just because there is another one. If anything you should have closed this one since it's the same fucking thing as the other on, just made afterwards.
You shouldn't be a mod of this forum, you hardly post except to make stupidass comments before you close a thread.

yeah ziv, this is one of the least active forums i've seen on totse...it's not like its cluttering the place up. And one thread was about a particular player's resurgence and the other was about the NFC championship.

That actually seems like a really good idea to close a thread.
If anything you should have closed this one since it's the same fucking thing as the other on, just made afterwards.
Why does it matter which one I close?
The way I see it, if I have 2 clone threads, I close the old thread 4 out of 5 times, especially if the thread is from NOVEMBER, and was only resurrected from the grave with a 2 word post that says "anal sex". Sorry I closed such a hoppin thread on you.
Why are you getting all emotional over a thread that you hadn't even posted in since November 25th?
You shouldn't be a mod of this forum, you hardly post except to make stupidass comments before you close a thread.
Mods don't always have to post. Some would argue that it's better for a mod not to post, so they can stay neutral.

.. and that player's resurgence brought his team to the NFC championship. Thus, thread #1 brought thread #2. Not only that, but thread #1 was dead until some idiot resurrected it. And it is cluttering the place up a little bit.
The Patriots thread I closed, that was a week old until CarbonB resurrected it (to say "yeah......." no less). Not only that, but it was about the Pats going 16-0, which they did, case closed. I didn't interrupt any arguments, no conversation was obliterated.
I don't see why you guys are bitching so much. If someone has anything to say about the NFL, there's an appropriate thread for it available to them. I'm not being the enemy of free speech over here.
Well I reopened them, because no one asked me to close them in the first place and I don't want to be a dictator. If anyone has any problems just let me know.

I think you should break out the iron hand and re-close them... but I'm just an antagoniser, so I'm probably just starting shit because I'm bored.
Please stay on topic people. GO PACKERS. Eli's never played a game that cold before (Forecast for sunday in Green Bay is between 2-7 degrees).

You know what? In my last thread about the Giants beating the Patriots no one gave the Giants, 'cept Giants fans, some credit. Sure as hell gave the Patriots a fucking scare. As you said, i wouldnt be mad if the Packers went to the suber bowl; they're my 2nd team along with the Colts. Im just ecstatic we beat the "cowgirls" :P Anyhow, Greenbay weather is crazy, so idk. Hopefully we can pull off another "upset?"

Us beating the Giants wouldnt be an upset, since we're favored. Beating the Patriots would be though. And I can't wait :D:D

this is just going to make for another gay ass one sided super bowl. i can't even remember the last time there was a good one.
Plaxico stepped it up. That was a GOOD game with a shitty ending though. I'm almost certain that kicker is like "there is a God" because of how many chances he got.

no shit. i hate the fucking patriots so much. i mean, the giants have a chance, they did almost beat the patriots in week 17, and that game didnt mean anything to either team.
its just the packers had a MUCH better chance of upsetting the patriots
shit i would have rather had dallas in the superbowl, at least that way the patriots arnt given the fucking win

Mike Mccarthy is an idiot for leaving Al Harris 1on1 man coverage with Plaxico the ENTIRE game... I really have to agree that the Patriots will NOT incur any real resistance against the Giants. The Packers were the better team... just didn't make the better decisions.

So let me get this straight. The Giants, a team well known for upsets, spoilers and covering the spread, the team that lost to the Pats by a paltry 3 points and went on to beat both the Packers and the Cowboys, yet you still believe that either one of those teams would have a better chance against the Patriots? Can anyone say "flawed logic?"

you bastards gave them no credit and now look at them--in the goddamn superbowl.
I wouldn't be surprised to see them beat the patriots, either. Eli looks like his brother in his prime right now, and the defense!! who woulda thought they could stop favre and grant? theyre almost as good as brady and maroney

There's nothing better than watching Brett Favre throw game-killing interceptions in the playoffs.

No kidding. If the Giants win I don't even know what I'll do with myself... the indescribable, impossibly intense joy will probably start causing hallucinations or some shit.

hardly a "perfect" 18 games. let me remind you of the ravens game...
but yes, 18 straight wins. *sigh*
the giants better fucking win to make up for taking the packers spot.

actually they took the cowboys spot
actually they took the cowboys spot
meh cant really say that, gotta go with the teams that made it to the champsionship game. cuz if you say dallas shoulda won the divisional, then you have another whole game of unpredictable things (packers vs cowboys)
