View Full Version : Why should God bless America?

Rolloffle
2008-01-17, 02:05
America has aborted over 50 million innocent babies, taken prayer out of the schools, exported violence and sex through the media and internet to the entire world, removed justice from her courts on the highest level and made acceptable what God calls abominations such as homosexuality, adultery, and all kinds of vile perversions. America is worse than Sodom and Gomorrah.

i think that saying is because when our country was created all of the other countries in the world were oppressive monarchies with the exception of napoleonic france and they didn't even come about till a few years after us. americans like to pretend that we still hold a similar position but obviously things have flipped somewhat.

America was founded on hard-work and the Bible, well most of it anyway, the politicians have been thieving Freemasons from the beginning.

Now the country is known for sloth, sodomy, and harassing the rest of the world.

as much as that is our current dynamic i really think we were founded with quite unique ideals. and sodomy is awesome. it's just that fags stole it and made it disgusting.

Why should God bless America?

He doesn't. Furthermore He never did and never will.

All countries seem to have the notion that God is always on their side.

Yeah, America doesn't execute homosexuals (Leviticus 20:13), followers of different religions (Deuteronomy 17:2-7), people who work on Sunday (Numbers 15:32-56), or kids cursing their parents (Leviticus 20:9). How terrible :p

If you would study a basic economics course you would understand the economy is in what we like to call a cycle. We have recessions all the time. We had one during 9/11 and everyone thought, "oh my god, we're doomed", but we made it through. I still remember people around here running to the gas station because they thought gas was gonna skyrocket and running to the grocery store to stock up on food and supplies because they thought prices were gonna skyrocket.

Now, the failed wars are Bush's fault who people like you believe is backed by God. The falling dollar is the Fed's fault for fucking with the economy like they always do. The mortgage crisis is because of dumbass banks lending money out to people they knew couldn't pay them back.

And the only reason the family is fucked up is because parents don't know how to discipline their kids anymore.

One last thing, just because you think homosexuality is a sexual perversion and abortion is wrong, doesn't mean everybody else does. We don't have to believe what you believe and you don't have to believe what we believe. It's called a democracy. It's called America. And, for the record, America wasn't found on Christianity or Christian values, it was founded on equal rights for all.

Name one country, (or empire) which had completely Biblical laws that was peaceful, prosperous and utopian. When people followed the Bible as the literal guidance for society, it was the Dark Ages.

Better Question: Why does God let it happen? Why would God want us suffer? To try us? Why is he so concentrated on humans? Isn't there anything else he can focus on?

Why not? What entitles you to God's help whenever you "suffer"? Everything you receive -- including the food & water you eat, the air you breathe, etc -- is a gift from God, why focus on the things he hasn't given you when he has already given you so much?

What have you ever given him? Could you ever possibly repay him? Of course not. :p

This is why you lose. Simply because this man knows what he's talking about, and you don't.

You ask "why should god bless America?" Firstly, how the fuck can a non human being 'bless' something? And secondly, the ones who preach your religion are ironically the one of the reasons why nation's image is tainted internationally. That, and your corporations.

You Christians really need to learn your own shit. Adam didn't reject God, he disobeyed God by listening to Eve, a woman, and giving into her instead of laying his pimp hand down.

It should read: "Women: ruining men since the beginning of time."

GOD DOES NOT GIVE ANYONE FOOD AND WATER.

Give a man a fish, feed him for a day.
Teach a man to fish, feed him for a lifetime.
Teach a man religion, he will die praying for a fish.

God has not shown up for work for many thousands of years now. He has been fired. Deal with it.

People don't need "god" anymore.. He only existed so the monkeys would have somthing to base their society off of. Now that we're evolved enough to scientificly dispove "god", people need to get over it :/

I think America will be alot better off when people stop bleiving in such fallacies and face reality.. Science is the way of the future, god's outta the picture.

Better Question: Why does God let it happen? Why would God want us suffer? To try us? Why is he so concentrated on humans? Isn't there anything else he can focus on?

Simply because God is testing our character, who we are as a person. The commandments are meant to be broken simply because we are human.

Good, and Evil is in its work. They cannot exist without one another. As our end of our age draws near, more shit is escalating.

Atheist rant about Christianity is based off fear.It aint, why should a Christian fear going to hell for breaking a commandment?

If a person has true faith in the lord, would he break every commandment for the greater good of humanity? Staying true to himself, and acknowledging the fact he may burn in hell.

Fear denies faith, when you deny faith you lose hope in not just with yourself, but the way of life.

apparently it makes people feel special and important, if they know they have god's blessing by living here.

if god *really* wanted to bless america, he would not have inflicted dubya on us.

... and george bush has all but said that god tells him to do what he does.

"Somewhat"? Good grief, we have war criminals in the White House, who caused an illegal war, are destroying the Bill of Rights, and routinely torturing prisoners. The US has become a rogue nation, and POTUS is the greatest terrorist in the world.

But wait--there's more. The US is the ONLY Western nation that still prctices state-sanctioned murder of (often-innocent) prisoners, and the ONLY Westernm nation with no universal health care.

Also, there are more US citizens in prison, per capita, than in ANY other country.

I love this country, but the government sucks.

Those embracing 'God': sending themselves into countless hours of confusion/blind ignorance/a waste of time and effort called 'faith' and to top it all off: fucking reading a book called 'the book' why the fuck, what kind of boring ass non-entertaining individual would read a book with a title so bland?? Tell your messiah to jump out of the son with his 2 excalibur teeth and griffin-type and start mauling mother fuckers before you have me believe some WHITE GUY in the middle of the MIDDLE EAST can fucking save us all for dying the same way THOUSANDS OF OTHER MOTHER FUCKING PEOPLE DIED, ULTIMATELY HAVING ONE PURPOSE: LIGHTING THE FUCKING APPIAN WAY. *this is a touchy subject... i just woke up, i'm FUCKING STARVING.... and i'm sober. so you got the best of me atm..

Nationalism, the feeling like something higher and stronger is their for us. Either God rejects or accepts Nations, not one but all. Personally I feel he would reject nations and accept each of us at our individual level.
