I would like to make a few flashbang(or stub whichever you prefer) devices. Im currently attempting to acquire a license. Anyway I found some book on the matter and I was wondering about the accuracy of it? Would someone please take a look at it for me because some of you have very good knowledge.

In short:
Type 20 High explosives manufacturing license.

But:
Flashbangs, m-80s, etc are still looked down upon and likely illegal even under the license. Plus you can't sell anything without getting it approved with the CPSC... which isn't going to happen with flashbangs... So... yeah.

I didn't check the link.

Thats the latest edition of the "Orange Book" and the answers you seek likely lay within... however local laws apply too... so like... if there is a burn ban in effect its illegal to set off. Or if fireworks can't be set off at all within the state/county/city, it takes precedence, etc...

You will also need an explosive storage magazine that will need to be inspected and approved by an ATF guy or the fire marshal or something... can't remember.

But yeah theres alot of shit. Sometimes there are legal loopholes, but its different for every area.

Wow... Well I certainly have a few(more like many) hours of reading ahead and then contacting them, I'm sure that will be lovely considering I live big cities. Thank for the help with the law stuff.

most welcome ...

I think they'll be a bit nervous about awarding the more hazardous licences if you'll be operating within city limits.
