Judaism. Jesus was a Jew, as were all his followers. Before Jesus and Christianity, the religion of his people was Judaism.

Don't know what you're thinking of, though.

The first religion ever in the world was sun, moon, and star worship. I call it the proto-religion. Nearly all religions from the beginnings of recorded or ascertainable history to the present rever the sun, moon and stars and have a place for them in their religion.

"Christianity always existed... It just was in a different form" according to a Roman Church Clergy Member

Christianity today is mix between Judaism, Mithraism and Gnosticism... Of course some the Teachings of Jesus but not all. Sadly, Gnosticism in Christianity is not pre-dominate in the orthodox form otherwise it would be easier to understand...

Before God brought me back, I worshiped myself.

I believe this is called narcissism.

I hear ya, before Coming back to God I myself felt lost and lacking something, I was still interested in philosophy and spiritual topics but just was looking for something that I could go with...
