i'm surprised this hasnt been mentioned around these boards.. or i guess i'm just surprised it isnt mentioned much ever in general. i grew up on this movie. i must have watched it once a month as a youngin. it holds up as an adult too imo. anybody else see this? any thoughts?

First, just let me say that reading that made my eyes bleed.

Second, I haven't seen it. Or heard of it. A quick search yielded this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Little_Nemo.

Is that what you are talking about?

Pajamas were so much fucking cooler after that movie. Hazama-pajama pwns! But the demon in the movie scared the living shit out of me as a child.

cool that satisfies my inner sadist. kazama-pijama bitch.

and yeah thats little nemo, but this is the movie: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Little_Nemo:_Adventures_in_Slumberland

i used to leave the room around half way through all the time.. i guess i had issues with the whole screwing things up royally thing.

edit: funny, apparently miyazaki was involved at the beginning of the project but left..

this might sound stupid to just about everybody.. but this movie could be super crazy on DXM (cough syrup). for those of you who dont know, DXM trips can make you feel like a participant in a movie. its a pretty unique experience. i bet waking life would be great too, but thats off topic.

Yes, this movie is fantastic. I actually still own it on VHS. The part that actually creeped me out the most as a kid was when they initially entered his room. That shit was weird.
