Odained at the age of four Marjoe (cominbination of Mary and Joseph) admits that his entire career in God has been a sham first perpetrated by his parents. He was made infamous in a documentry in the 1970's.

The first clip is of Marjoe the child preacher. The second clip is from the documetary in which Marjoe reveals he is a total fraud BEFORE going out and doing some tongues and fore head slapping faith healing.

Watch as the stupid worshippers receive the blessings of the lord in the form of what can only be called a placebo effect, or as I like to call it bat shit crazy.

Thoughts?

I really like the second clip because, Marjoe says something to the extent of how he'd like to just go out, let go and have a group therapy with these people, but for them it has to be about God.

I also don't know how he doesn't start laughing his ass off when these old ladies start fainting.

I thought it was pretty funny as well, until I realized some of those people do not get back up:

September, 1986, Ella Peppard, 85, died 15 days after someone "slain in the spirit" fell on her and fractured her hip during a Benny Hinn sermon. They carried her off stage and were reluctant to call an ambulance to the place of the sermon (would show them to be a fucking fraud wouldn't it). Good 'ol Benny settled out of court with the relatives of the Mrs. Peppard for an undisclosed amount of money.

There are numerous cases of people getting injured or killed in the proces of being "slain in the spirit". This is due in part to the fact that the old, frail and infirm are the chief demographic to attend a healing sermon, and also due to the fact that these people (healer and participant alike) are fucking insane.
